If Men were God...

Would you still have that radiant smile that captivates emotions? Would your mind still shine brightly? Could you walk with those legs that enchant others without a second thought? Many would try to bring you down. If men were gods, would you still have the freedom to express yourself in this democratic society without fear of arrest?

Humanity's safety would have been at risk. Fortunately, the men were not in danger; otherwise, no one would have survived. The anger of men towards their enemies is intense.

If men were to take the place of God;

  • Our wrongdoings would go unpardoned.
  • Our needs would be neglected.
  • Our lives would lack love.
  • They would obscure the stars from the night sky.
  • They would cover the sun with clouds.
  • They would let darkness overshadow the moonlight.

  • Their rule would bring suffering.
  • We would pay a price for our existence, and chaos would be our fate.
  • Questioning them would lead to death as a consequence.

If men were like God, everyone would be seeking to buy life. We would form long lines, pulling along behind us. Men's desires often aim for dominance, seeking to control and fulfill their own selfish goals.

Human beings will never be fully satisfied. Their existence is shaped by their desire for more. At their core, humans are inherently greedy. This perspective comes from the sixteenth-century philosopher Thomas Hobbes in his influential book, The Leviathan.

If men were like God, we would all be seen as the wrongdoers. Whenever they gain power, they become intoxicated by it, and their tendency to boast clouds their judgment.

If they understood God's intention in making them leaders of their families, they would submit to divine authority and show loyalty, humility, and respect towards their wives.

If men were like God, they would have removed the clouds and covered the world in darkness and evil. Men often feel the need to show off and seek recognition as important figures.

Thank goodness, men are not God!
