"Progress report with @emishael60: Embracing the achievements and engagement from last week!"
Hello, friends! It has been a lovely week for me. I have been actively creating posts, upvoting, and engaging with other Steemians. During this, we accomplished several goals I had set for ourselves.
Last week, I established a weekly and monthly target with my collaborator, @emishael60. Our target was to create at least five posts in a week, engage with others, and upvote as well. We aimed for five posts ' upvotes throughout the week, with Thursdays dedicated to engagement.
Now, alongside @emishael60, I would like to share some of the activities, contests, and games we participated in. I will also highlight some of the best engagements I had and the users I interacted with during the week. Let's start with my posts.
In total, I published four posts this week, including one for the diary game. Here’s a breakdown:

Engagement
I've come to genuinely enjoy the engagement, a feeling I didn’t have before. I noticed that some users find it difficult to comment. I used to feel the same way until someone helped change my mindset. I hope to do the same for others. It's important to remember that commenting on someone's post can also be considered a form of contribution. If your comment exceeds 100 words, you’re likely to receive an upvote from the Steem Curator.
Now, let me ask you: what was the highest support you received from a comment? For many of us, it hasn't been more than $0.01. However, did you know you can earn from comments just like you do from posts? Keep in mind that the Steem Curator supports not only quality posts but also quality comments. Recently, I received $2 from a comment… I couldn't believe it, but you can earn as well.
The challenge, however, is knowing what to comment on. When I discussed my struggle with @wakeupkitty, I remembered her advice. She mentioned that even if you express your appreciation for the author's work without having much to say, it still counts as a comment. I wondered what that meant until I encountered a situation where I read an interesting post but didn’t know what to say. So, I simply thanked the author for the time they took to write the post and admitted that I wasn't sure what else to comment. And yes, that’s absolutely a valid comment!
Not everyone writes lengthy comments, but I’ve realized that sharing your knowledge or understanding with the author is one of the best ways to support them. Often, my comments reflect my personal experiences, and I love it when someone responds to my post with insights or questions about what I wrote. It truly encourages me. So, friends, there is joy in engaging with others beyond just creating posts and disappearing.
Last week, I made an effort to engage with the following users. Here are the topics of our discussions:
- @wakucat
- @supportive
- @sadaf02
- @chant
- @rubee2as1
- @wakeupkitty
- @ssea.miner
- @weisser-rabe
- @onomzy001
- @geantech
- @josepha
My collaborator also engaged with:
Additionally, I also work as a Steem Bot Support representative (@sbsupport). This role gives me another opportunity to engage with many users, particularly newcomers. Throughout the week, I connected with several newcomers, encouraged them, and invited them to join the Steemit Support Department. It operates on Telegram and has other exciting features, such as playing the Steem game. You can join the Steemit Support Telegram Chat by clicking here or scan the QR Code on the flyer below.

Honestly, I have started to enjoy Steemit after setting my goals. You can do the same! Set your goals, plan them, follow through, and you’ll surely succeed. Let’s see what the new week brings. If you need help with engagement or making comments, I believe @wakeupkitty and @aneukpineung78 can assist you.
