Hello friends, week three is here, there are very much movies that is not recognized, but for the purpose of this contest I will list out five movies that is not really known

The movie industry is very big and is expanding every day. There are producing more movies with different stories lines and even with different performances, they have their own unique visions. Even when they are trying their best, they still remain underappreciated. In this my contest writing I will bring about five lesser-known or underrated movies, I will share reasons why they should be appreciated and be recognized and I will also share with us some potential strategies why they should be valued.

The five movies that I know that are lesser or underrated are:

• The Wedding Party
• The Fall
• Moon
• The Station Agent
• Jumbled

The five movies listed above provides different storyline that are unique but lesser recognition.

The Wedding Party is a Nigerian movie and it was produced in the year 2016, the movie is directed by Kemi Adetiba. The movie brings in storyline that is all about an events that tells about a wedding preparation.

Honestly after watching this movie you will know that there is no party in Nigeria like the party in in this movie.
Especially when you give out a novice that is still a virgin to a man that is a playboy to marry.in this movie there are two overbearing mothers that can not get close to each other.

A husband that can not take his eyes off from other ladies, then the party planner easily get angry , I don't know if it is as the results of stress. The villagers are another set of people in the movie, the go to occasion invited and they take control of everything in that party, the thief there don't even care, they still so easily.

Then the best man has a flash drive that contains so many secrets and now the ex of the groom came with so much anger and seeking for vengeance, the the brides were lucky to have loyal bridesmaids that are ready to go to war. The movie is a potential movie full of disaster

The movie the Fall is directed by Tarsem Singh, the movie is an eye catching film that connects reality and fantasy. The movie was released in the year 2006, it employs a beautiful artistic
that represents Singh's artistic vision. Even with its artistically rich narrative, still this movie is still not recognized.
this might be because it was overshadowed by all this big-budget blockbusters which was released during the same time. Having so many part of storytelling and metaphorical themes of hope and hopelessness are usually overlooked. Recently eye catching movies storytelling has become so popular, visually driven storytelling has become more appreciated. So I have to bring in this movie so that people may know and in one way or the other, it will help the movie to be noticed.

The Moon is a movie that was directed by Duncan Jones, which was released in 2009, the movie center around things that are produced by the use of technology and the nature of humanity. In this movie there is this man that is known as Sam Rockwell, he delivers a unforgettable performance, showcasing a man who stationed on a lunar base experiencing isolation. Even with his excellent ideas and Rockwell's engaging presentations, the movie still have problems of not noticeable. This could be the cause of misconception about independent movies and science fiction as a genre being having the same problem with visual effects and action.
If some promotion can be carry out about the movie "Moon" that could make the movie popular and could improve it's reputation.

On my list,The Station Agent is my fourth movie that is less appreciated, the movie is directed by Tom McCarthy, it was produced 2003. The movie is all about drawing attention of message of friendship and solitude. The plot effort on a man who is searching for peace in a forgotten train station and attribute an collective cast which include Peter Dinklage. Uses subtle to tell a story that is so emotional and genuine just to connect with viewers, with all his efforts the movie still didn't go far. All this is that the movie was not promoted, had it been it was promoted it could have been supported.

Jumbled is the last movie on my list, this movie was released in the year 2021, this movie is one of the unique romantic drama that looks into the complexities of love and relationship dynamics. The movie Jumbled is directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters, it showcase a very fresh narrative on romantic entanglements. Upon that the marketers overlook and refused to promote the movie to go viral. This movie is all about relationships and it deserves to be noticed.

There are so many reasons why all these movies being seen as lesser-known. For every businesses to be successful there must be a strategy involved but in these movies the marketers are not putting on effort to market these movies.
Another thing is that financial backing is not there all because these movies are low budget movies.

All these movies I mentioned are all good movies that they need a push to move forward, they need to be promoted and all these streaming platforms don't stream them, which means they don't pick interest on these movies.

To improve on awareness and appreciation for these underrated movies, there some major strategies that can be brought in. Film festivals which their main focus is on independent cinema can take this movies to another level by focusing on those hidden gems. There should be an event that is suitable for discussion that will center around lesser known movie
Another thing is the institution and all these movies studies programs should try their best in including all these lesser movies on their curriculum, by the time they study the insight of the movies and presents it to people, from there the audience will then appreciate the works that challenge conventional storytelling.

Social media is another good avenue that can help in shaping the narrative of these movies, by offloading the videos on the internet will really help because bloggers might find it attractive and broadcast the movies.

All the movies mention above needs attention, they can also go far if they are recognized. Alot of promotion should be carry on back to back and before you know it, they have gone viral.
