"A CHILD A MILLION SMILE " SUSTAINABLE FEEDING PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN IN NIGERIA WEEK 8

Children are a gift from God and every child deserves the best. putting a smile on their faces gives me great joy and satisfaction. .
We went to Royal Prestige school located at Ifa Atai Etoi , Uyo local Government Area in Akwa ibom State. But before now, some days to the schools mid_ term break , we visited the school for permission to meet with the students, the headmistress ask us to drop a contact were she can get back to us because she can not make major discission on her own without asking permission from the proprietress of the school and @ngoenyi gave her the contact. After consulting with the higher authorities, we were told that permission was given but they prefer us to bring an uncooked food, and we decided to go with noodles on the 8 /3/2025,
since nearly all children loves noodles including mine..

11o'clock was scheduled for the meeting, we arrived at the school by 10 :55 am , the children were arranged in an orderly manner and they were so happy especially when they saw us with cartoons of indomie . excitement and jubilation feels the air. As the saying goes a way to a man's heart is through his stomach the same is applicable to children, when once a child is well fed and is satisfied he will be able to pay an undivided attention to his teacher.

All fingers are not equal, and as such indomie maybe common to some but to others it may be a meal for the rich children. Because of the population of the school, the students were divided into 2 groups , the first hundred students were given 2 packs each while the remaining students will be given by next week (ie week 9) . Because of the economy situation in Nigeria today things are so difficult to purchase so sharing those noodles made their faces beam with joy and it made my heart so glad . Even the teachers were not left behind with joy and happiness, they sang and danced along with the children.

Some children were so happy and they asked me if we will be coming everyday to share the indomie For them, one of them told me that indomie is her best food, I asked her if she is happy to have it she said she is over excited which led to my satisfaction.
As the saying goes giving makes us happy and there is more happiness in giving than there is in recieving .
Our content creators steemians @bossj23, @alli001, @kidi40 were not left out, they turn the empty cartoons of indomie to cattoons and the children were so amazed as they watch full grown adults play like them. Some were inside the carton while some carried them on their heads and @bossj23 lied down on it. Those in the classroom could not concentrate because of the laughter that filled the air that is why it is written when you go to Rome, behalf as Romans. They steemians behalves as children just to make the occasion a memorable one for them.

After all the activities, they went back to their various classes in an orderly manner and we returned to our respective distinctions eagerly awaiting our next week return.
