My Journey to Port Harcourt, Rivers State (Part Two).
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are doing fine and enjoying your day. I wish for all of you good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you the Part Two of my journey to Rivers State. I hope you all will get time to read and also share your thoughts.
In my previous post, I've shared my journey to Rivers State for the purpose of processing for my brother's original HND certificate. In this article, I want to share with you how I proceeded to the school the following day. Stay tuned and happy reading.
I woke up early on Monday, 14th July, feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day's task. My mission was to visit the Kenpoly campus in Bori, to process the original Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate for my brother, Mfoniso.
I left Rumudara, Port Harcourt where I lodged to Eleme Junction by 8 am, I boarded a bus at Eleme Junction and arrived at Kenpoly, Bori by 11 am. I headed straight to the Exams and Record Unit, where I met Mrs. Wikina Ledor. She was very helpful and attended to me promptly.
Mrs. Ledor requested the original copy of Mfoniso's statement of result, which she used to confirm his name from the school's graduates' brochure.
After verifying the information and confirmed that Mfoniso truly attended and graduated from the school, she instructed me to go to bank and make payment for the certificate and bring the teller and also photocopy the statement of result and submit it along with a handwritten application letter for the certificate to begin the process.
Next, I visited the bank to pay the required fee of Thirty-Seven Thousand Naira (37,000.00), approximately 152 Steem. I photocopied the teller and submitted it along with the statement of result and application letter to the Exams and Record Unit for processing.
The staff assured me that the certificate would be ready in two weeks. They emphasized that the original certificate can only be issued to the owner, Mfoniso, who must provide valid means identification to collect the certificate when it's ready.
With my task accomplished, I boarded a taxi back to Uyo. I arrived at 4 pm and headed straight to my office, having missed a few hours of work.
Now, I await the call from Kenpoly, informing me that the certificate is ready so that I will notify Mfoniso to go with his valid means of identification and collect his certificate. The journey may have been long, but it was worth it to support my brother in getting his original certificate.
Thank you for going through my post. Do have a great time ahead.
