What was your dream profession and why did you aspire to become a professional in that field

Over the years and now, I have always aspired to be an Accountant/Banker. This has been my dream profession since my childhood days and this dream profession hasn't cease in me yet. Whenever I go to banks, seeing the bankers who works there, how mannered they are, looking neat and sweet, intelligent and also curtailed, I will just say to myself that I will be here someday when my dreams finally comes true.

Again, the reason why I have aspired to be an accountant or banker for so long is that this career offers plenty of opportunities to learn new technology and techniques. Actually, am very passionate about accounting because i will love to show my expertise by helping clients optimize their tax strategies and achieve their financial goals. What excites me most about accounting is the opportunity gifted to make a tangible difference in clients' financial well-being and serves me the opportunity of helping people in their financial crisis.

For you all to know how passionate I have been about my dream profession,I had to write Jamb last year in order to further my studies into the university for my career and profession. I got my admission last year and am currently schooling at Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri. The course am studying here in school is Accountancy which has been my initial dream course. Last year, when I was processing my jamb with my admission, at a point my mum called me and she was like, I should leave this course and study something else. I began to explain to her how I have been aspiring to see myself study this particular course and using it to brighten my future. Before I started to pursue my admission into the school, I already had a side hustle and handwork that I learnt for almost 2years.

I learnt tailoring, how to sew clothes. I learnt this job with all keen interest in me knowing that it will benefit me in the future. I made sure I learnt it so well, and today I must say that I can sew perfectly well on my own without directions. During those years of learning, I had savings for buying a sewing machine. Although, it took time for me to buy one, but I later bought it last year December. So, when I resumed school fully, I brought in the machine to my lodge so that my course mates and neighbors can patronize me. And since then, I have made a lot of returns and had many people coming to me to make clothes for them.

Why did you change your dream profession If you did & why didn't you change if you didn't?

As for me, I didn't change my dream profession because am still into it and I have the assurance in my spirit that this my dream career will fetch me more opportunities in the future. Accounting has been a great fit for me. As a future Accountant, i have a strong desire to learn and excel at solving problems, face complex problems that need to be carefully sorted out. With all these points mentioned above, that's was why I didn't think to change the fact of reconsidering my dream career.

Is there any regret for what you do today?

To me, I don't think I can regret this decision I have taken because it's the right path. Currently, am working on two things, my studies which us my dream career and my sewing life which is my side hustle here in school. This opportunity I have now is what some people are aspiring to be. That's why I don't have any atom of regret in me for the decisions I took because I know it's for the betterment of my future.

In Summary, I will advise everyone here who is pursuing his or her dream profession, either through school or otherwise should stay strong, focused and also have a good side hustle to back it up. Thank you all for your time... I hope you grabbed something from my post today? I wish to invite my friends @entity01 @tykay019 @bossj23 to join this interesting contest..!!😊
