What comes to your mind when you hear someone addressed as a 'glutton'. I bet more than 85% people would picture a fat person eating voraciously probably with his two hands and a mouth that is constantly full. Thumbs up, to the organiser of this contest, because the word Gluttony/Glutton/Gluttonous and all it entails would be brought to limelight with answers to the contest questions.
Here's are my views;
Gluttony and how a person with such behaviours can be identified. |

Gluttony is the excessive intake of something. It is that overindulgence in something. An example is taking two whole loafs of bread when five slices is enough. And as the contest rightly put, it is a behaviour and can be identified especially if the person;
keeps getting that sense of dissatisfaction even after consuming a lot.
shows some negative physical, mental or social impacts that follows gluttony example of such includes; constipation, bodily pains, constant want etc.
Lack of Self-control when they find what they love or that thing they often indulge in.
Do you think a gluttonous person can be likened to just food and drinks? Explain. |

No, Gluttony is more than just food or drinks, it involves a lot of others aspects of life. While food and drinks are common, gluttony can also manifest as excessive consumption or accumulation of other things. E.g a child can be gluttonous with toys. This means the child has enough toys but still keeps accumulating or collecting more toys, even more than he or she can handle. It's similar to the internet, video games or even shopping.

While it's natural for one to seek satisfaction and happiness, gluttony is an overdose of it. So yes, Gluttony can be managed
Two powerful ways to I find practical to manage gluttony are:
Sharing with others this is the most powerful and cost effective way to manage Gluttony. You not just manage Gluttony but you get to build relationships and put smiles on faces which is even more wonderful.
Self discipline also helps, though very difficult setting limit is one big step to overcoming gluttony, this won't just help you overcome gluttony but also help you be a better and reliable person in the future.

What advice do you have for people who find themselves in such a condition? |

Realising your condition is your biggest success, the willingness to change is another bigger success and to perfect it, you take the step listed above. And if that doesn't work, you can always find a substitute to your indulgence, maybe watch a video, take a walk, draw, play or read a book.
If all these doesn't seem to be an option for you, then talk to someone mature, maybe they can help. Afterall adults they say; see better and clearer.

In conclusion I would say, Gluttony is not a curse or some 'cant help it' stuff. You can overcome it, yes we can break that habit and cultivate, new better ones.
