Hi friends, I welcome you once again to this week's video editing class. Last week, I made my attempt, and I was so excited. I'm participating again this week. I honestly want to be the best because I'm doing my best.

Last week, we were taught by our teacher who taught us a lot about the process of downloading and opening of capcut, uploading videos and pictures, setting up the aspect ratio, adding overlay, cutting off unwanted parts of the video down to exporting. Here, I applied both the teaching from last week to video editing. So, I started by uploading a 6-minute video.

To zoom the video in and out, I used my finger to stretch the video in and out on the timeline.

Before zooming

After zooming

Because I needed to cut some parts of the video off, I clicked on edit and then clicked on split to indent the area I didn't need. To do that, I placed the white divider where I want to split and after splitting, I clicked on delete and then deleted the excesses.

I added the overlay we downloaded last week to the video, and then I proceeded to the video speed.

I clicked on the editing scissor, there I found speed and then clicked on it and showed me different options and I clicked on normal. From there, I used my finger to adjust the speed by dragging to the right and reducing the speed by dragging to the left. I left the speed of the video reducing it but could not continue with other functions using the curve as that's mainly for pro.

In the class, our teacher taught us how to order the clip after importing by dragging the divided part of the video in the timeline to where you want to it to be. Also, we were taught how to adjust duration by dragging the ends of the clip forward which I also did.

It didn't just stop there, I also removed the ending part which usually shows capcut. I also dragged the overlay from the beginning of the video to the end of it before exporting the video.

In the video I uploaded, we went to church on time because I don't like to attend meetings and events late. I usually prefer to be there early and wait rather than rushing to meet up. The value I have passed down to my children as well. So, when we went to church and no one was there, it wasn't time for the meeting yet, and so we sat outside just admiring the beautiful ambience of the environment because the weather was very cool, no rain and no sun. I also allowed my children to have fun around the environment while I was looking at the busy roads and how people and vehicles move about their day's activities.

The video was recorded and edited with my phone itel A70.
