Using Original Photos to Create Contents.

I chose the topic " say no to child abuse" because of the urgent need to put an end on the widespread of the psychological, physical, mental and emotional damages child abuse causes in a child. It is a topic that should be published, on daily basis to create awareness of the danger of child abuse and the the necessary measures needed for child protection.
Child abuse is a killer psychological, physical, mental and emotional damages inflicted into a child. It is very true that children are innocent and they are born as "tabula rasa " everything a child learnt is as a result of the influence from the parents, society, peer group, guidance and school.

Child abuse can be as a result of so many factors which causes harmful effects to the mental and psychological development of any child. It can result from parents neglecting their duties and responsibilities of taking care of the child, providing for the child basic needs like shelter, food, clothing and education. if these basic needs are not met, it a child abused because the child is deprived of his needs and with that it affect the child psychological well being for parental love and care.
The most alarming child abuse is the one cause by the society, peer group due to lack of parental control and care.
When this happened, a child is exposed to the larger society on an early stage of life where he hasn't developed the ability to accept or reject some certain habits and way of life, the society take control of the child, exposed and introduced to some social vices, drugs abuse, gambling, smoking and sexual activities. The child will be grown up with the believe that, life happens in such ways,
There are a lot of cases of sexual abuses on children, all this causes mental damages to a child development where by the child will live with such ill memories.
It is always very sad seeing innocent children being subjected to child labour, beggars on the streets and hawking at a very tender age.
And parents inflicting physical injuries on a child which may causes bruises and permanent scars. The abuse seen may be a physical damage to the skin but the actual effect is on the child mental, psychological and emotional development and trauma to the child well being. The child will be grown up under the atmosphere of hatred, depression and anxiety. It causes deterioration to the physics growth of the child. The child may grow up to lack human sympathy, believing that it is the right way to treat humans.
All this influences will have a negative impact on the child because it persist into the adulthood and affects the overall behavior otherwise of the child to make an healthy relationship with others, he may still be living in the fear of those abuses.
All this effect has given rise to an unsafe environment, whereby child who are initiated in different gangs will turn back to harm the parents and the society making unsafe for others.
Child abuse from academic environment is also alarming, where discipline, knowledge and cognitive development should be acquired, the fear of not being bullied by a teacher of a senior student will affect the educational achievements of the child. Sometimes it causes absentism, poor performance and memory lost . All this factor need to be dealt with and put under control.

Upon all the happening in our society on child abuses, the campaign for child rights and protection is still not put up to standard. Many children fear to report child abuse cases due to fear or what will befall them, as such they lack protection from the law, children in Africa at most should be highlighted on their rights and the authority should be ready to ensure prevention and intervention of any given report received.
Children needs to be protected in any society that peace and harmony is desired. They are the leaders of tomorrow, as such it is a garbage in garbage out. What we breed is what we get.

When I came across this topic in this contest, a lot of pictures reflected on my mind since I am greatly against child abuse, I love children, hate to see children been maltreated, abuse or put into child labour. I have to rack my brain to create a picture which could reflect some act that should be greatly be condemned which can destroy the future of the child

The picture highlighted some the the societal influences on the child due to lack of parental care and affection. Initiation into bad gangs, introduction into gambling, smoking and alcoholism which has a negative influence on the future of the child. Inflicting of pain, injuries and harsh punishment on the child. Al this are child abuse that we need to say no to.

Most of the contest I joined I used original pictures because I strongly believe that original pictures has more meaning to a post. It confers the actual meaning and reality to a post. I believe in real pictures but when it hard to get I sometimes use online but in limited cases.
