Animal husbandry is a branch of agriculture that is concerned with the rearing of farm animals for some benefit, examples are milk 🥛, food, meat🍖.
The rearing of farm animals began during the time of our forefathers and their decision of breeding farm animals to satisfy basic needs led to animal husbandry.
In the days of our forefathers till our modern age,and also there are five main branches of animal husbandry which includes

Different types of animal husbandry
There are different types of animal husbandry but the major types are;
1.Subsistence
2.Commercial

1.Subsistence farming
This has to do with the farmer providing for his family and not mainly for financial purpose,the farmer only provides the animals with complementary feed,and in this method farm records are kept by the farmers

2.Commercial farming
This is a type of farming that has to do with farmers rearing of farm animals on a large scale of land for financial gain.And this requires a large capital investment to start with,and also big machines are been used such as the milking machine, incubator,egg candles, tractors🚜,bulldozers etc.
