My Neighborhood Watch #90 - Reporting Events Around us
Hello friends welcome to my blog
It's another beautiful day to update you on the happenings in my neighbourhood. Today day, I passed through a market in my neighbourhood that used to be my favourite market some years back and let me tell you about it.
The market is close to residential buildings, unlike those bigger markets that are situated in areas mapped out for market structure. In this market, they sell mostly food items. And it has more women sellers in the market with just a few men that sell meat.

Some years back, when I moved into my present neighbourhood, in fact, the state to be precise, this was the market in my neighbourhood, it was the first market I knew then. so I patronised the market for all my food stuff and was okay with everything I got there. I made some of the market women my customers because I always buy from them. It was a cool place to buy and close to my house.

My neighbourhood Market
One day, I met a lady we grew up together in my former base. She also now resides in my new neighbourhood and has spent more years in the state. When I told her I shop in the neighbourhood market, she told me to stop buying from the nearby market that buying there is a waste of money(expensive), especially when I am buying in bulk, she promised to take me to a bigger market and told me to use the neighbourhood market only when I want to buy things on emergency.
So she introduced me to a bigger market where I buy that same foodstuff at a cheaper price. I buy double the items I get at the same price I pay for one item in the market. I was so happy that I was introduced to this new market. I sometimes see some sellers in my neighbourhood market come to buy in this bigger market to come and resell in the market in my neighbourhood. I guess they factor in their transport money and other expenses. Which is still not worth how expensive they sell things in the market.
I will advise people to always ask questions when they come into a new neighbourhood. Seek help from people who have been living there before you to help you navigate the environment to get better options on how to get things. Not just market but also look out for better schools if you have kids, grocery stores, health care centres/hospitals, etc.
When I was passing through the market today, I noticed it was not as busy as it used to be then. Could it be that everyone goes to the big market to buy now, or is it just a coincidence of an unbusy day for the market? It is still a lifesaver anyway when you have to go for an emergency buy, although expensive.I would like to invite @bela90 and @blessedbee to tell us about their neighbourhood.

Seeing the market it seems commodities are chip to buy.
The New Market is a developmental project for the neighborhood because market bring people from far and near for economic activities.
