Wisdom Comes with Age

What do you understand by the word intelligence?
Intelligence is the mental power that has the ability to understand, judge and fit things. It is because of intelligence that we can find out the good and bad and it is through intelligence that we are able to understand each other in relationships. It is because of intelligence that we are able to buy good things from the market and it is because of intelligence that we can do a good job by writing on it. It is because of intelligence that we can increase our pride and glory in the society and it is because of intelligence that we can become good friends. It is because of intelligence that we can make good inventions and if intelligence is used thoughtfully, then we can reach great heights in the world.
Do you think that great intelligence comes with age or can anyone achieve it?
In my understanding, great wisdom does not come with age but with experience because age has nothing to do with great wisdom because sometimes the elderly are not able to use their wisdom as much as the youth of today use and achieve great success. Achieving great wisdom is not everyone's cup of tea. One has to use a lot of brain and face difficulties to get great wisdom. Therefore, there is no relation of age for great wisdom. It is only the art of experience to get great wisdom because sometimes the elderly people of older age like 70-80 years are not able to use their wisdom as much as the youth of today's age of 20-25 years do.
If intelligence should come with age, do you agree that all elders are wise?
Wisdom does not come according to age but on the basis of experience and ability because if wisdom came according to age then every aged person in our country would be very intelligent but this is not so because every aged person is not intelligent, the main reason for this is that to be intelligent you need experience and not age and people get experience at a very young age and according to their experience people become intelligent and capable and I do not agree at all with the fact that all the elderly are intelligent because to develop wisdom it is very important to go among people or to gain experience by having differences with them, hence wisdom requires experience and ability and not age.
What is your personal understanding of elders having intelligence?
My opinion about the elderly being wise is that if an elderly person is capable and has the ability to think and understand the good and bad of society, then he is an intelligent person, otherwise not because every elderly person is not the same, nor are their experiences and abilities the same. Experience and ability are gained after a lot of hard struggle.
