How are you all? I hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah I am also well. Today I am going to participate in the third week of Steemit Engagement Challenge 27. Today I will try to express my opinion on the topic set by @max-pro. Today I will share some things about the businesses that have developed around transportation or vehicles in our surroundings.

We use various types of transportation in our daily lives. Such as buses, trains, autos, rickshaws, ferries and many more. The places where these vehicles move and where they stop, where passengers get on and off, small business shops are established in those places. Most of which are on the sidewalks. We often buy a lot of things from these shops on our journey. Especially in the places where vehicles stop and passengers get on and off, these shops are more common. Especially fruit, sweet and tea shops are more common.

Which transport station in your city have you been to? Review any business there.

Yes! I go to the transport station every day. I go to the office by bus every day, so I meet bus transport every day. Most of us use buses or trains for long-distance transport. Since my office is far from my home, I have to go to the office by bus every day. I get on the bus from my home and get off at Gabtoli Bus Terminal every day. Buses go to different parts of the country from this Gabtoli Bus Terminal in Dhaka every day. There are different types of bus transport here, Hanif Paribahan, Shyamli, Golden Line, Madhumati Itisah, Rajdhani and many other transports.

Small businesses have been established around this bus terminal, some are tea shops, some are selling fruits. Some are also selling clothes in vans. If you look around, you will also see sweet shops. Most of the time, people buy various types of food before starting the bus journey so that they can eat while sitting in the bus, many times they buy these things for their homes or relatives. The main buyers of these shops are the passengers. So how will it sell, it will depend on the passengers.

Have you ever bought anything from these shops? Show pictures + videos and show the price.

I usually eat fast food. Sometimes I buy other things or fruits or sweets while going home. A few days ago, I had tea and biscuits while sitting in these shops with my friend. I could not share any pictures or videos of that moment because I could not share any pictures or videos of the purchase. However, I tried to share the pictures of the shop.

Why are passengers more attracted to these shops?

Actually, first of all, passengers can easily see these shops on their way and they can be found at a little lower price. As a result, most of the passengers are more attracted to these shops. Since the shopkeepers do not have to pay rent for the shop, they sell their products at a low price instead of selling them at a high price. Due to this, people buy more products from their shops. And people have a different kind of attraction towards tea. That is why we keep looking for tea shops everywhere. Considering that, many passengers have tea and biscuits for breakfast before boarding the bus. That is why tea shops are more common around bus terminals.

Are these businesses creating employment opportunities for local unemployed youth?

Of course, I think these businesses have created employment opportunities for local unemployed youth. Most of the shops or businesses that have been established around these terminals are run by locals. That is why local unemployed youth can start small-scale businesses with little capital. In this, they do not have to pay separate shop rent, which will result in them being able to sell their goods at a small profit, which will also increase the number of buyers. Many people also start businesses permanently if they have their own land in these places or rent land or shops.
