I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. Today I will share my experience of the traditional market in our village, and it was really wonderful.

I went to Golkandail market in Rupganj police station, Narayanganj district, and not only bought a goat but also enjoyed the sincerity of the people, bargaining skills, and the vibrant picture of rural life. We were happy to procure a good quality goat for Tk 14,500 for my brother's daughter's Aqiqah.

In this market, not only cows and goats but also various animals such as pigeons, domestic and foreign animals, plants, trees, even ginger, garlic, onions, and various types of food items are available. Moreover, tree seedlings, flower seedlings, various types of herbal medicines, and necessary items are also easily available here. The sky was very cloudy and the beautiful nature was raining heavily, so I could not capture many pictures.

Such an event is not only a social or religious duty but also brings the family closer. This experience reminded me again that our markets are not just places for shopping, but they are an important means of building our culture, tradition, and relationships with people.

Then, after buying a goat, we rented an auto rickshaw for 200 taka and reached our area, and I collected some mango leaves and some jackfruit leaves for the goat so that it can eat till tomorrow because tomorrow morning it will be sacrificed as an aqiqa.

I pray to Allah that my brother's daughter's aqiqa is completed beautifully and that she is healthy and righteous. Everyone, pray for my brother's daughter.
