Gray days are also part of the landscape/I got a bad news but hoping for the best
I like to pride myself in being the kind of person to always find something to be happy about but let’s not kid ourselves, one can’t definitely be happy all the time.
Last week alone hit me hard enough i’m holding up by the grace of God.
A series of unfortunate circumstances happened to me recently.
I celebrated my father during the Father’s Day, but the next week he wasn’t strong enough to go anywhere. We did our best to convince him go see a doctor which he dad and came back with lots of pills for him to take. We thought he was doing fine only for him to slump while eating last week Friday.
Thankfully, my uncle was around and helped in rushing him to the hospital into the emergency ward where he was put on oxygen and drip.
It hard seeing your once healthy father lying in the hospital and eating through a pipe. The only thing we can do is pray to God and hope for the best.
My aunt’s daughter is struggling for her life too. While we were battling our own issue, my mom reached out to her eldest sister only to hear that her daughter is in coma.
My mom was speechless because at this point, who should console who?
My niece was taken to the hospital too.
She woke up in the morning complaining of headaches and all which was strange because tis girl hardly fall sick. We knew it was serious when she took some headache pills herself, my sister immediately told her to dress up and they went to the hospital. Immediately after checking her vitals, they out her on drip.
While taking her treatment, the hospital ran some lab test and discovered it was Typhiod and Malaria. It could have been wordse but thank God it isn’t and she’s undergoing treatments to get better.
With all these things happening, you can’t but get sad, angry even at how things are happening almost at the same time. Life is unpredictable in ways you can’t fanthom, today its a new of a crash killing everyone but one passenger, tomorrow its losing a client who is one of your major source of income. We will keep holding up the best way we can.
I invite @eveetim, @ezun1, and @grebmot to also participate in this contest.
Hello, the truth is that it's inevitable to feel sadness. Many times we're happy and suddenly many things happen, knocking our spirits down and enveloping us in sadness and pain.
