"SLC-S24/W4 | Date Cake"

Today, in the fourth week of Steemit Challenge 24, I will be participating in @m-fdo Ma'ams' "SLC-S24/W4" - Date Cake Competition".I hope everyone enjoys it.
Date cake is the first time I have heard of it. I have never heard of it in cakes before, but I like dates a lot, so I think a date cake will be interesting. I will make this cake for the first time today. I have already taken a lot of ideas after the recipe you gave.

Below I am mentioning the ingredients for making the cake.
- Butter 120 grams
- Flour 120 grams
- Sugar 120 grams
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda 1 teaspoon
- Dates 200 grams
- Vanilla essence
- Egg 2 pieces
- Hot tea 150 grams
- Cashew nuts 40gm

First I cleaned the dates nicely and poured them into Warm tea and I added a spoonful of baking powder there. Then I mixed it and kept it separately.

I broke 2 eggs in another clean pot and kept mixing them well with butter.

After mixing them, I added flour, sugar and baking soda and mixed them well for a few minutes. Because usually, sugar takes a while to mix, I mixed it in.

Then I noticed the date mixture with the previous tea, the dates were not mixed well so I mixed it with the help of a blender and added it to the other mixed ingredients and there I added vanilla essence.

I mixed it for the last time and in another clean pot, I put the mixed ingredients there with tissue paper.

I added cashew nuts to the mixed ingredients and baked in the oven for 10 minutes at 175 Celsius and after baking, I put the cake in the oven for 40 minutes at 175 Celsius.

After 40 minutes, when the date cake was nicely done, I cooled the cake and started removing the tissue paper from the cake. I cut the cake beautifully into pieces and took a picture of it by writing my name on a piece of paper.

- It cost me 533.2 taka in my country's currency, 28.82 according to Steem price, and 4.3 dollars according to the dollar rate to make the cake.

Since I was introduced to this date cake today, I was scared to make it for the first time, but I was very confident in myself because the recipe for the cake was like a normal cake. It is currently the rainy season in our country, so it was difficult to get some of the ingredients from the market.
Also, when I added dates and baking powder to the hot tea, the dates did not soften properly, so I mixed it with the help of a blender. Removing the tissue paper from the cake was a little more difficult than on other days. And the biggest thing is that this is the first time I am going to make it, so I was able to do it with joy.

When I prepare date cake never add cashew nuts, because it is date cake. It should have only date taste, not the cashew. Butter cake and fruit cake it is ok. But it is your chocie.

The taste of dates will not be compromised by the small amount of nuts, and adding nuts makes it even more appealing.
