A painful week, as well unfortunate week, but kind support
This week was not an easy one for me. On the 26th, I could not lift my hand and got a small pain. On the night of the same day, I had severe pain in my left hand, neck, and left shoulder. It was heavy rain and a storm of wind outside. I couldn't sleep because the pain was so bad. I felt my hand was very heavy on my body. By the morning of the 27th, the thing was worse; I couldn’t bear the pain.
I was very sad because the 27th was my moderation date for the fiction prompt, "The Mystery of Project Z," on our SLC 24 challenge on fiction stories. I felt that I couldn't work on that day because of my uncomfortable situation. I tried calling my team leader, @dove11, to inform him about that, but he didn't answer. I then messaged him and asked him to arrange for my other teammate, @waqarahmadshah, for my moderation. Also, I promised I would cover his day later, as dove11 had a tight schedule this week. But to my surprise, @dove11 himself accepted my moderation work instead of giving it to my other teammates, even under his tight schedule. I was truly thankful for his kindness.
After that, early in the morning on the 27th, we went to see our doctor. He found out that what caused my illness was that one of the tissues in my shoulder was torn. He prescribed some tablets and gave him a gel to apply to the painful area. He also told me to rest for at least four days and requested that I get an X-ray if I didn't feel better after four days.
This week, I was assigned three days, Monday (23rd), Wednesday (25th), and Friday (27th), to moderate our contest on SLC Challenge 24. Unfortunately, on Monday the 23rd, there was no entry to moderate. On Wednesday, there were only three posts. On Friday, I was too sick to do anything. As I felt a little bit recovered on Saturday, I requested my team leader to give me his day (Sunday) to cover. But he kindly told me not to do it, reminding me to take rest as the doctor advised. I reluctantly consented to him. As well, I was happy with the concern he showed me for my illness. Even though I didn't work much this week, I read all the entries submitted to the contest.
I was very happy to see that all the stories were very creative and full of imagination. Some were very emotional, while others were mysterious and unique. Fiction writing is not an easy job; only those who have very good imaginations can write such stories. I was very happy to see the talent shown by our Steemians.
This challenge is ending this week. I take this opportunity to thank all the participants for their wonderful stories and for keeping this contest alive with their creative minds.
I am still not fully recovered. I may have to go for an X-ray soon because I still cannot lift my left hand properly.
Finally, I take this opportunity to thank my team members @dove11 and @waqarahmadshah for their tremendous support extended to me, not only during my illness but also when I had some issues and even during my five-day travel. Due to the health issues of another teammate, @sur-riti, even though he resigned from our team, I also thank him for all the support he extended to me while he was with us. Their kindness touched me a lot. Thank you once again, my teammates, for your kindness and support extended to me.
I hope you get better soon and that the treatments prescribed by your doctor bring relief. Sending you positive vibes and wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thank you very much for your positive vibe, my friend.

Thanks for the support.
Wow, I didn't get the notification of this post but fortunately I saw it. I am sure you are feeling better now. I am sure you got a nice experience as an able teammate. Hope to work together in future!
Yes, since I'm fully recovered now, there's no need for an X-ray. This type of work always teaches us a lot. I also look forward to working with you again in the future. Thanks for reading and commenting.
