And as we all know, wine gets its own signature with age. That makes old wine bottles more expensive. With these things, the science of wine known as Enology has broadened with years. And you can have a glimpse of it from this series.

"The Drops of God" #suspense #thriller series that was released kn Apple TV+. It is actually a trilingual #series which consists of English, Japanese & French dialogues. Tomohisa Yamashita and Fleur Geffrier play main roles here. I thought it's done by the first season, but it has been renewed for a 2nd season. Additionally, this season has earned recognition, winning the 2024 Emmy Award for best drama series.

The story goes around 2 people, Issei Tomine from Japan and Camille Leger from France. Camille's father is Alexander Leger who was a French wine critic and the creator of "Leger Wine Guide". Camille was separated from her father by her mother became of his personal issues. But in childhood, Alexander tried to push Camille's limits to carry his legacy. As a result of a trauma, Camille can't taste any alcohol as she gets nose bleeds. Later, Alexander continued his work and recruited Issei Thomas to teach Enology, and he became an expert in it.

After some time, Alexander died and his inheritance is now on stake. Both Issei and Camille found shocking of his death and they were shocked even more to hear that they had to face a set of tests based on wine to win the inheritance which is a prestigious wine cellar consists of fine wine bottles valued upto 100$ million.

Issei was amazed at nominating him for the inheritance. His family is in the jewelry business. Camille was just living her life in Paris. Suddenly, their lives were upside down. Will it be for the better? Will unwanted chapters be revealed in the upcoming days? It's up to you to find out.

At first, I found this to be boring. But as soon as I watched the 1st episode, I was hooked. And the rest was a marathon. I fell in love with the art of wine, and it's amazing to realize that there's a big economy around it. I'm sure you'll understand all while watching it.
