Lamp for the mosquitos went wrong!

in Steem Sri Lanka5 days ago

As you see the topic, Um gonna say the way I created a lamp for keeping away mosquitos from my room and why it went wrong. Well. First I am gonna share why I wanted it. When the night comes, mosquitis usually visits our homes. Since my area is very hot even in the night and my room has been added an extra hotness as it's located on the upstairs and due to the concrete slab it feels so hot always.I can open my windows but the problem is mosquitos.

But I open windows ignoring them in the evening, but in the night I need a mosquito net for sleeping. It also increases the hotness even with the fan. Then I saw a video that explains creating a lamp which gives a solution for this problem.

I needed to try this very new thing. We need only six items for this lamp. A glass, පැඟිරි oil, coconut oil, salt, a scented stick, and some cotton wool. First I added salt into the base of the glass and gave pressure to keep it steady. Then mixed both oils together, and poured in to the glass.

Then I cut the scented stick at the length suits for my glass and then wrapped the small piece of cotton around it. Then I set it in the glass and lighted. It did not last, cuz the cotton cloth burned so quickly. That’s why it went wrong and I forgot to buy cotton wools for the lamp.

Anyway I am adding the link about this lamp, if anyone interested. I hope my lamp will work at the next time with cotton wools and I love the smell of “ පැඟිරි oil"!
