Buses are not Under the Law!

Today, in the morning I left my home for work. First I got in to a Matara bus from monaragala and then I normally take the bus from thanamalwila to Embilipitiya. I had no buses except Matara bus, at the moment to reach thanamalwila at the right time for the next bus. When I got in to the bus the whole bus looked like this.

That was so irrittating and I felt dizzy with a headache. I had to keep a tissue on my eyes during the whole journey.

There were so many white metal bars, which lead passengers lives for a serious damage in an accident. Even though media showed multiple bus accidents during the past few months,these bus owners, drivers and conductors do not care about it at all. Also they have no care on passengers' comfort in the bus. I do not know why and how these people have the power to challenge and neglect the law in the country. Anyway I made a complaint against the bus to NTC, but um not sure whether they will take actions or not.

When comparing with private buses most of the CTB buses are good, but they also play songs,or use sticks with heavy smells that always give me headcahes. Our transport system is a huge mess and also a tradegy!

When the bus reached to thanamalwila, It was a great relief to got down from the bus. Then I got in to Embilipitiya bus, and it was one of my favourite route, where I could enjoy the nature a lot.
