3.Collective Nouns:

They are singular nouns that refer to a group of things as one whole.

• Army
• Class
• Flock
• committee

4.Material Noun:

The substance or matter from which other things can be made.

Examples:

• water
• Milk
• silver
• iron

5.Concrete Noun:

A concrete noun names something which can be seen, felt, heard, or tasted.

Examples:

• Cat
• Chocolate
• Bilal

6.Abstract Noun:

They name something that you can't perceive with your five senses - something that don't physically exist.

For Example:

• Life: death, happiness,Sadness, laughter, freedom.

7.Countable Noun:

Singular and the plural forms. Anything that you can count and make plural is a countable noun.

For Example:

Clock/clocks, Ahmad/Ahmads, poem/poems etc.

8.Uncountable Noun:

The things that can't be counted are called uncountable nouns.

Examples:

• Milk
• Rice
• Water

9.Compound Nouns:

These are made up of two or smaller words.

Examples:

• Sunflower
• Tablecloth
• Haircut

10.Possessive Noun:

The Noun that shows possessiveness is called a possessive noun.

For Example:

Dad's car, the student's book, Ahmad's hat etc.
