A quiet atmosphere on Eid al-Fitr Day
Friends of steemit all greetings of success always for all of you wherever you are....
At 7.30am we went to the mosque to perform the Eid prayer in congregation. Eid prayers are held regularly every year in the mosque of the housing complex where we live. Likewise what happened this year, the next activity was to carry out friendship between residents. of course this activity was carried out after the Eid prayer was completed.
I returned home to rest for a while after the gathering with the residents was over. We just stay in touch with fellow block residents today. I rested until about 2:30 in the afternoon. Then I went straight to one of the coffee shops on the National Road. When I arrived, I chose to sit at a table in the center of the coffee shop, so that the air blowing from the fan would provide a slightly cooler atmosphere.
The atmosphere inside the place where I enjoy my coffee is a little different from usual. It's understandable that today is the first day of Eid, so many people choose to celebrate with their families and neighbors. So the situation in this coffee shop, which is usually full of coffee lovers, is different this afternoon. In the end, instead of thinking about it, I ordered a glass of warm sanger espresso.
I waited for a while before my coffee arrived. And of course I immediately sipped a glass of sanger espresso with a taste that arouses the taste of coffee lovers. It doesn't feel like I've been here for almost two hours, while glancing at the clock in my hand which already shows 04.00 in the afternoon.
I finished sipping my coffee. I immediately left the place to the center of Kruenggeukueh while stopping at the mosque in the city center to carry out my obligations as a Muslim. Apparently it was quiet in the city center too. There weren't many children's toy vendors today, which is a common sight for us Dewantara sub-district residents.
A different atmosphere from the previous year. I don't know where the children who used to congregate at the toy and even food stalls that open on certain days. What is visible is the trash scattered on the streets of the city center. This is often a topic of conversation, especially since sellers and buyers do not have much activity in the city center.
In the end, I chose to return to my uncle's house in Uteun Geulinggang village. I was here until 6:30pm. Then I went straight home, because it was already late. I rested at home to recover my energy, so that my body became more fit again.
