Quantity or Quality? - 21 SP for 7 Users
Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Quantity or Quality" as part of my participation in this 👉contest organized by @aneukpineung78
If there are only two choices, which one do you think is more important: 1) flooding Steem with a large number of active authors; or 2) getting quality writers (which is not in large number)?
What constitutes the Steemit platform that makes people have respect for Steemit and believe that whatever they read from Steemit is okay, it is because of quality posts, which is what every platform prioritizes over large active authors. I think it is more important to get quality writers in Steemit than flooding Steem with a large number of active authors for these few reasons of mine.
It gets the reputation of STEEM high: Quality writing enhances the reputation of STEEM as a platform where thoughtful, informative, creative, or original content can be found. A large number of writers bring about unqualified writers that scare readers and investors from the platform.
User Retention: With quality writers on Steemit, people will keep coming back to read content and have trust in whatever they read as they would trust the credibility of the platform.
Attracting Investors: Having quality writers will attract investors and developers to the platform and will make people showcase their talent, depth, and uniqueness. High-quality writing demonstrates that the platform has a long-term value that is beyond what people think.
What do you think constitutes ‘quality’ writing?
What constitutes quality writing is as follows:
Originality: The content that is written by the author needs to be unique and creative and not rehash what is already available on the platform.
Coherence and Clarity: Quality content constitutes ideas and a logically organized structure for readers to follow and engage with one another.
Engagement: Quality writing invites conversation, comments, and thought. Also, quality writing addresses the community and makes readers share their interests and ideas.
