🎮 PlayStation Time ⚽

‎‎It has been a habit when we meet that miftahulrizky and I find the right time to relax together. It does not matter who starts first; what is sure is that we are loyal gaming partners. "Let's play a game" he shouted, asking me to play eFootball, and without hesitation, I nodded my head directly. Having fun at the PlayStation rental shop for us is a great form of entertainment.

When we arrived at the rental store, there was no throng yet, and we immediately chose our game spot, a comfortable sofa and a large screen to mesmerize our vision. I of course chose Liverpool, my beloved club, with an attack-oriented squad. And Mohamed Salah, naturally, was my top pick player on the right flank, whose speed and clinical finishing ability were frequently the make-or-break factors in securing the match. Smiling, miftahulrizky chose Barcelona because he was a huge fan of the Tiki-Taka style of play that revolved around possession and short passing, and up front, Robert Lewandowski was his scoring machine. Lewy's goal-scoring talent and deadly positioning are always a threat. "Get ready to lose! Mo Salah will make the lives of your defenders hell!" I mocked, but miftahulrizky just laughed. "Lewy will tear your defense apart!" he retorted.

‎The first match commenced, and the noon grew more intense, not just because of the weather but also because of the tension in the game. The first half was extremely intense, with both teams exchanging attacks and defending solidly. I continued to try through balls for Salah in hopes that he could find a way past Barcelona's defense, he also had a few chances, but their goalkeeper was unbelievable. Liverpool finally got their goal with a beautiful long-range shot, not by Salah. miftahulrizky however responded quickly, capitalized on Lewandowski’s excellent positioning in the penalty box, and with one touch, the ball found the back of my net.

‎In the second half, the match became more intense, and I tried all the techniques, from through balls to distance shots, but Barcelona's defense was too compact. Towards the final minutes, miftahulrizki once again scored the winning goal with Lewandowski's fierce shot, which beat us 2-1. I felt disappointed but got thrilled for the next game immediately. "Alright, now it's my turn to take revenge on you! And this time, Salah will prove himself!" I shouted.

‎The second match began with the same energy, I was more careful on defense this time, attempting to impede Barcelona's quick moves, especially the ball movement to Lewandowski, and it worked. I soon scored two goals in the first half, one of them an individual masterpiece from Mohamed Salah, who dribbled down the wing, past a few defenders, and hit a firm shot into the corner of the net. miftahulrizky tried to play catch-up, with Lewandowski sometimes getting threatening chances, but my defense was better prepared. I managed to keep the lead, and Liverpool won 2-0 in the end.

‎We went on playing, game after game, with the support of the other players surrounding us who were playing their games too. The PlayStation rental shop was full of cheers, laughter, and complaints every once in a while whenever one of us lost a goal. At times I was lucky enough to win big, with Salah being the hero through his quick goals. And then there were times when miftahulrizky was in the limelight, with Lewandowski being a nightmare within the penalty area, scoring crucial goals. We kept changing our moods to the thrill of victory and agony of defeat. The all games were like a final, with both of us giving everything on the ground.

‎Before we knew it, the noon had turned into afternoon. After all those hours of gaming, we had finally quit. We exited the rental outlet with grins on our faces, the final score no longer a worry, as what mattered most was the fun of playing. We enjoyed spending quality time competing healthily and laughing our hearts out together in the virtual showdown between Mohamed Salah and Robert Lewandowski in eFootball 2025 that became one of our finest stories.
