Students are stressed that they need additional competencies for the world of work.
Indraprasta University in Jakarta emphasizes the importance of additional competencies for students facing the workforce. Therefore, the quality of campus education must be maintained despite affordable tuition fees and a technology-based system.
"We have integrated SIKA and an effective LMS since the pandemic," said Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Irwan Agus. He emphasized that the learning system continues to be developed in accordance with national higher education standards.
Irwan encouraged students to actively participate in organizational and creative activities on campus. This step is considered crucial for developing competitiveness and direct student involvement.
"Students can join student clubs (UKM) and other creative units," he said. He hopes these activities will enable students to compete in national-level competitions.
Irwan believes that active participation can broaden their experience and build self-confidence. Therefore, students are encouraged to be more prepared to compete in the ever-changing world of work.
Meanwhile, Cindy Rosa, an alumna of the English Language Study Program, shared her experiences during college.
She believes that campus has developed communication skills that now support her work.
"I learned a lot about public speaking and self-development," Cindy said. These skills, she continued, now support her career in wedding planning.
