DPRK Chairman and Bireuen Regent Conduct Surprise Inspection of Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital Services, Several Unused Medical Devices Found.

Bireuen Regency Regent, H Mukhlis, ST and the Chairman of the Regency People's Representative Council (DPRK) Junaidi conducted a surprise inspection (Sidak) to see and directly ensure the services at the Dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Monday (2/6/2025) afternoon.

The arrival of the number one official in Bireuen was accompanied by members of the council, Acting Regional Secretary Hanafiah, SP., CGCAE, Assistant II Dailami, SHut., MLing, Director of Dr. Fauziah Regional Hospital, Dr. Mukhtar MARS and staff.

During the visit after the medical staff had finished their lunch break. The Regent conducted a surprise inspection of the Emergency Installation (IGD) and asked for an explanation from the medical staff regarding the services and obstacles faced to be improved so that patients can be served better.

So that there are no more patients who do not get a bed and have to be treated in chairs and wheelchairs or even on stretchers on the IGD floor. Efforts to reduce the need for patients to be hospitalized at the Health Center need to be maximized even more.

Age from the IGD The Regent reviewed other service rooms such as radiology, as well as inpatient rooms and held meetings with hospital management and medical staff in the Hall.

"I, together with the Chairperson of the DPRK, the Regional Secretary and Assistant II reviewed the services of the Dr. Fauziah Hospital because we found many things that needed to be fixed immediately, such as one of the management, today we heard that the hospital had a deficit of more than IDR 20 billion. We hope that after there is management improvement, the hospital will no longer suffer losses," he hoped.

The Regent said that when he went down to make a working visit to the Health Center, he had also ordered the head of the Health Center, the service must be improved even more. One of the patients was hospitalized, he did not have to be forced to be referred to the hospital.

Meanwhile, patients can still be treated at the Health Center, so they do not need to flock to the hospital. Meanwhile, hospital beds are limited, which can disturb the patient's psyche, explained Regent Mukhlis.

The Regent also found a number of Medical Devices (ALKES) worth billions of rupiah abandoned and unusable because they do not yet have an operational permit.

One of the findings was the discovery of a c-arm (radiology fluoroscopy) type medical device that was purchased last year, but until now has not been used because the permit has not been completed.

This fact made the regent very disappointed and accused there of indications of forced procurement of medical devices in order to pursue personal gain from distributor cashback.

Likewise, the emergency room is full of patients but there is no place, patients are forced to sit on chairs to undergo treatment.

In response to this condition, the regent ordered the regional inspectorate to immediately conduct an investigative audit of the management of the Dokter Fauziah Hospital, this step was taken to prevent the inheritance of years of debt and to fix the financial system and public services of the regional hospital.
