Before us and after you

Before us, the wind carved paths through the silence, etching stories into stone no one had yet named. Shadows were softer, unclaimed by memory, and time itself was still learning how to walk.

We arrived with trembling hands and open eyes, gathering fragments of light like children of dawn. The earth leaned closer to listen to our breath, as if creation waited for us to speak its name.

After you, the echoes will not fade, they will ripple through every unbroken horizon. Your footprints will burn brighter than suns, trailing fire even in the coldest night.

And when silence returns to claim its throne, we will know it carries your voice within. For before us, the world was empty longing, and after you, it will never be the same.
