Weekly Report as Steem Representative, May 8 to May14, 2025
Hi, all fellow Steemians,
Good morning from Canberra,
This was an eventful week that went too quickly. Once again I was too busy on various fronts, but barring a couple of unpleasant moments, all went well. I had to make a couple of changes in my online and offline schedule, although life didn't change much.
As for online, it was not just the routine writing but posting comments on posts pouring in at a quick rate, and we are just two to cover them. But that's part of the job, and I have never backed out as far as taking the job seriously is concerned. That's another corporate habit working fine with me.
This was the day I joined this website in 2022
Today I have completed three years on Steemit so I did a diary post after a long time, but again, that wasn't a regular diary post but some of my memories as I completed three years on this website.
My Three Years on Steemit| 14/05/2022-13/04/2025
Offline I am busy with my project and clients, but as I am online all the time, I can handle both my responsibilities perfectly. Yeah, the best that could happen to me on Steemit was I achieved Orca status, and I have more than 50K SP in my wallet.
My power-ups and reward summary
I didn't start another contest since I am too busy with the SCL-24 contest, which, according to me, is going great guns and has brought good results so far. Let me admit that users were waiting for theme-based writing contests, and they are enjoying them fully, as I can see the other one with a similar writing assignment is doing well as well.
Let me admit some users are committing mistakes but not taking the fair grading normally. But that's human nature, they want everything without doing enough effort for the same.
I agree; I have fewer active posts at this moment, but I haven't missed a single day posting and did enough posts this week. However, I participated in as many contests this week as I could.
"SLC-S24/W4 - Powerful Debate | Deal or No Deal"
I usually like to write about travel, but I had no time to travel this week either, so I mostly posted in either SC or Dream Steem. As I reported last week, I made a change in my "Newbie Promotional Program" by raising the rank limit from 50 to 55, but most newbies I selected are ranked under 50.
This week I did something different as I set both my weekly beneficiaries in one post instead of my usual two since I was not sure I would have enough time for writing my usual 7 posts.
Newbie Promotional Program
A New Initiative to help newbies
I am proud to announce once again that I supported as many newbies as I could through various methods, including setting them as beneficiaries in my posts every week, which helps them stay positive. I always vote for the best posts according to their quality and support them in my capacity as moderator and Steem representative.
My online and offline activities, including my offline social activities, did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 55 rank (revised), irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries, including rewarding one in my travel contest.
As always, I spent some time with a couple of newbies on their or my posts. I feel like more and more newbies are getting in touch with me, and that's heartwarming when they are among them as they approach me.
I supported two more newbies, keeping them as beneficiaries in my one post for a change. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies because my "Newbie Support Program is working well, and I feel good when I see newbies feel motivated and respond happily through their comments.
My selected users
As a routine, I selected the two "newbies," @qbinh21
I selected for this post:
Achievement1 Mi llegada a la gran comunidad de Steemit
I posted a comment on that post.
And @sammy75, both in one post this week, as I said for a change, because I was not sure I would be able to post enough posts.
For this post
Verification through Introduction
As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.
Here is my post:
Importance of gratitude or is that love?
There was no response from either of them, not so far.
Again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem. Once again, I am proud that as SR, I tried my best to support all good posts.
My Account Summary
This week my CSI is in normal range of over 10, as I supported all who needed my support; however, this week I visited as many posts as I could. I did all my duties writing reports, moderation, especially in the ongoing SC-24 and curation. As I said earlier there was no traveling this week.
These are my regular posts.
As usual I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.
That's all for this week!
Thanks, all; have a nice time ahead.
Yours sincerely,
Canberra
