Weekly Report as Steem Representative, June 19 to June 25, 2025
Hi, all fellow Steemians,
Good morning from Canberra,
Another week of hectic activities comes to an end, and as I tried my best and brought together some of the best in the business, I finally formed a team. The role of SRs was nothing much for many, but I enjoyed it to the fullest, helping newbies in multiple ways.
I said there was not much to do as an SR, but for me, keeping around 140 as beneficiaries and talking to them in different channels was something I enjoyed fully. But I am sure that will continue for me, SR or no SR. I felt I was doing my duty, and I will keep doing that, one way or the other.
I am feeling that from now on I have more time at my disposal, and if our team gets the chance in the newcomer's community, it will be another task at our hands. Overall, I must say another week passed normally.
Now that Learning Challenge 25 has started, I see a couple of opportunities for me this time around, so I posted in a couple of them, but I feel I was not up to the challenge starter's expectations. I will try to do better.
Offline I was a little busier, but most of my activities were online as I avoided going out due to low temperatures and too windy conditions. Once again I spent a lot of my time browsing and shopping online, including for groceries.
Curation duty
I see worth mentioning being part of Curation Team-3, using all my previous experience and supporting the best posts no matter what country, community, or rank they belong to. And finally, this was my turn to write the weekly report.
My power-ups and reward summary :
I added more STEEM to my wallet this week, bringing my total past 53.4K SP+, and enough balance for the next one that I intend to add soon. Let me once again say that I am going to add all my SP to my wallet as long as I am on this site.
I did a couple of posts in different communities.
For instance, I enjoyed doing this one:
I lost my puppy” 13-week-old golden Labra
I should mention the post that I did in Recreative Steem
IV Anniversary of Recreative Steem
Newbie Promotional Program
A New Initiative to help newbies
As promised, I have started working for the newbies, although there is no contest for them so far, but I did a post for them, and I am glad it received attention. But to be frank, I found just one newbie this week worth supporting.
However, I am happy to find some of the newbies that I have been supporting for more than the last year, and some of them are doing well, and to top it all off, a few of them have established themselves as good content creators.
I always voted for the best posts according to their quality and supported them in my capacity as a Steem representative. Again, my online or offline activities did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 50 rank, irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries.
I am proud to announce once again that I have supported well over 130 newbies ever since I started this program, but the time is ripe when I think about different methods to support them every week, which should help them stay positive.
Now I am planning to replace this program with creating a new community especially for newbies as they need it. I am seriously planning and in touch with few likeminded community admins and hope to reach to a conclusion soon.
I am planning to bring talented newbies into the mainstream so they could do something more creative and likely involve them in "Travel Writing Contests" with a difference that will encourage them to share about their region and country.
However, I supported two more newbies, keeping them as beneficiaries in one of my posts. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies, but my "Newbie Support Program" will be different a few weeks from now since I am busy with offline and online projects right now.
My selected users
As a routine, I selected "newbie," @ale24 my first beneficiary for this week.
I selected her for this post:
As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.
I posted a comment on her post
I selected my second "newbie," @emmajohnny for this week.
I selected for him for this post:
Verification through introduction by @emmajohnny
My message on the selected post,
But as usual, just a few of them understand the meaning of my message, so none of them responded this week.
My post for these two as beneficiaries
One Picture And One Story Week #92
Again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem. Once again, I have tried my best to support all good posts.
These are my regular posts :
My Account Summary :
This week my CSI has gone down a bit but I am supporting all who need my support. This week I visited as many posts as I could, even though I was busy writing reports, and curation kept me busy on other assignments and, of course, my offline project.
Let me assure you that I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.
That's all for this week!
Thanks, all; have a nice time ahead.
Yours sincerely,
Australian Capital Territory
