Soong Elementary School Campus
Hello fellow steemian, friends and folk,
Soong Elementary School - is a public primary school campus which located at sitio Soong Center, Mactan, Lapu-lapu City. The school had seven school levels with different sections, these are the kindergarten, grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, grade 4, grade 5 and grade 6. And in my rough estimate more or less it has 10 sections in every grade levels, which divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session starts its classes at exactly 6:00 am until 12:00 noon, while the afternoon sessions starts at 12:00 noon and ends to 6:00 pm.

Since it is also a division of Lapu-lapu, so they have made their own logo design painted in the main entrance gate for landmark of the school.

Outside and beside the school campus, the SPTA (Students, Parents and Teachers Association) funding a newly-finished school project which aim and to provides a shed for everyone in times of rain and heat of the sun. A covered waiting shed and sometimes a covered walk for parents and students which about to enter to the main gate.

The local government assigned two BPSO personnels in the school, which this are persons who were assigned for the safety of the students upon crossing the road. They are also incharge and take the full responsibilities towards for the command of all passing vehicles near the school entrance, to slow down or much better get a full stop in passing the school premises pedestrian. Inwhich they also provide a road signs infront of the school inorder to inform riders and drivers and to avoid any accident.

The school buildings
This is the principal's office and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) building, this is where the teachers are making their computer related works and printing, then the second floor is oocupied by the school head. Which upon entering the main gate and inside the school premises then in the right-side portion it is where you can found this building.

This is the grade 2 building, a two-storey building which composed of 4 sections, and it is found in the most back portion of the school campus.

The grade 3, grade 4 and grade 6 building, a four-storey building that composes of mix grade levels. The ground and second floor are occupied by mix grade levels, grade 3 and grade 4 students and in different sections while the third and fourth floors are occupied by all grade 6 students and in different sections.

The kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 5 buildings, the front one which is a ground floor and in the right-side is the building of kindergarten pupils in different sections, while its opposite building on the left-side and also a ground floor are occupied by grade 1 pupils and in different sections, then on the back building which is a four-storey building are occupied by all grade 5 students and in different sections.

This is the covered court, venue where to be held all school activities like, the graduation programs, any kind of sports event, district meet, SPTA meetings, seminars and other extra-curricular activities. This is a wide open space which can accomodate 300-500 persons, and on the front portion where the stage is located.

In every portion of the school facility, there are designated projects which parents, teachers and students work together just for the benefits of everybody. And the funds will be get from the SPTA project and other donation from the school sponsors, so namely;
• Grotto of Virgin Lourdes
Inwhich the replica emphasizing the importance of having a prayer, most especially the holy rosary, having doing any mistake, humility, compassion for the sick, not physically fit and sinners.

• Garden
The school also made a designated small portion of land which used to grow vegetables, herbs, ornaments and flowering plants. Inwhich every student are assign to bring a variety of plants and us inspiration to plant for a cause, inorder to have a green and better sorrounding. And on the other side there is written, which Jesus said, "let the little children come to me" found in Matthew chapter 19: verse 14 in the bible which it is clearly stating, in a young age of a child, it should be taught to have faith and trust in God, the deep of the words and what it really implies.

• Guard house
Upon entering the school premises, there is a guard assign to check whose entering and exiting the school and for safety purposes. This is to ensure the safety of all pupils and students inside the campus.

• Pathway
The school has a wide pathways which easy to access pupils and students in times of earthquake and natural calamities. And it measures 3 meters wide and long enough space going to the main gate, enough to evacuate incase of emergency.

And my conclusion
Soong Elementary School campus, is the second largest primary school in our town, so no doubt it is one of the most popular and large number of enrollees.

And I salute to all parents who persevere in teaching of their childrens education and so us with teachers who perform well all their duties, just only for the good and welfare of their students.
