Nigeria is a country located in West Africa that is blessed with several endangered and unique wildlife animals. The good thing about the protected animals in Nigeria is that the government does show concern about them through the National Parks Service and other various environmental laws in the country. In this post today, I have shared some of the protected animals in Nigeria.

Cross River Gorilla

Threats	Habitat loss, hunting

Drill monkey is a protected Animal in Nigeria with the following status, habitat, and note attached to the animal.

Habitat	Southeastern part of Nigeria
Status	Endangered
Note	Related closely to mandrills, but not common

Roan Antelope
