Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @afrinn

From #Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is healthy and well, Alhamdulillah, I am also healthy and well. Today I am coming with a post. I hope you all like it very much. Let's get started. We only have two days left. So it is Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Adha is very happy and painful for us. On the one hand, there is a flood of happiness, on the other hand, the lives of thousands of shepherds are going through hardship. On Eid al-Adha, we sacrifice cows, goats, buffaloes. Among them, cows are one of the most selective. As you can see, these goats had a very good and calm nature. Last Ramadan, I bought these goats for my father by working on the Steemit platform and saving 12 thousand taka. The goats were very small at that time. But my father's intention was that he would raise them and sell them on Eid al-Adha. My father always took great care of the goats.

How to take care of goats

Every day my father would do all the housework and cut the raw grass for the goats. Then my father would give the husk with rice. Then he would bathe the goats regularly with shampoo. He has been raising the goats for almost a year. And he would constantly feed them fruit peels and bananas. And my goats' favorite food was banana rice, papaya, ripe jackfruit, etc. Anyway, the goats ate food and got a lot of care and slowly grew very big.

Then my father came to the decision day. However, my father sold the goats with great sadness for sacrifice. May Allah grant my father the ability to sacrifice the goats. (Every Wednesday) The goats were taken to the market to be sold. Just before the goats were sold, my mother fed them. And took care of them. My family and I burst into tears. Because I bought the goats when they were very small. We were very fond of the goats. The goats were more fond of us than that. So before taking them to the market, my sister bathed them with shampoo. She put oil on their heads. And combed their entire bodies. When my father tried to take the goats to the market, the goats cried a lot and did not want to go. Then my father gently took them to the market.

Moments after taking them to the market, some people came and asked the price of the goats. I bought the goats for 8 thousand taka. The goats were sold for 34 thousand taka. When they were given to my father, the goats tried to take the people away. But the sad thing is that the goats came back and hugged my father's neck and cried. This scene was very strange. My father burst into tears even more. The love is really big. I think the love of animals is more than that of humans. And I also cried a lot for the animals. So I am telling everyone to pray for the two goats I sold. May Allah accept their sacrifice.

That is indeed very sad. The main problem if you are close with your animals or make pets out of them, you rather don't sell, let alone eat them.

I assume that's why many don't eat dogs and cats any longer and next the horses unless they break their legs.

I assume Eid can also be celebrated without meat?

BTW chickens make great pets as well and can recognise you, same for geese, ducks and I even kept a hamster that always woke up and waited for as I arrived back home from school.
