"Python is a protected animal in my country (Bangladesh)"
Assalamu Alaikum friends,
The largest snake among snakes is the ball python. However, this snake is not found in Bangladesh at present. The main reason for the destruction or lack of sufficient numbers of these snakes is the lack of habitat. Today I am going to write about this snake.
Python snakes are found mostly in the equatorial Sahara region of Africa, but they are also found in the Asian continent. Python snakes are now only found in very small numbers in deep forests and large jungles in Bangladesh. They eat mice, small snakes, frogs, and large prey, which they trap with their bodies.
Python snakes are usually not visited by humans and live in deep forests. However, in the current situation in Bangladesh, the amount of forests is very small, due to which the number of these snakes has decreased a lot. Sometimes, when they come to the locality in search of prey, many people beat and kill these snakes. Currently, pythons are on the list of endangered animals in Bangladesh. Due to the lack of natural habitat for pythons, their reproduction is decreasing and sometimes their eggs are destroyed by human activities.
Although there is a law, the law is not being properly implemented in Bangladesh. According to the law, hunting wild animals from sanctuaries and keeping them in captivity is against the law, and there are provisions for both fines and imprisonment. There is also a provision for immediate punishment through the mobile court.
At the same time, there are instructions to take legal action against those who destroy wildlife sanctuaries by conducting commercial activities and disrupting the normal movement of animals. Although there is a law in all cases, it is not implemented, as a result of which the wildlife diversity of our country is heading towards destruction today. We are aware but some selfish people are destroying the environment for their own benefit.
