Waiting For The Barber

Few weeks ago I decided to barb my hair, I have been carrying this hair for 3 months, the last time I barbed it was 21st September 2024, in this post I will be talking about the 21st day of December 2024 which is the particular day I finally barbed my hair. I used to barb my hair every two months but I decided to make it three months long this time around so they the hair will look fresh on the day of Christmas which was 25th.

I don't really like this idea of staying for two months without barbing my hair but am just trying to economize and avoid spending on what I know I can survive without. A haircut for guys in my area is 2 steem and I to me I will say two steem is a very big money even if it looks small, it might be small for you but for me every little thing has value. I arrived at the barbing salon and met the barber's young apprentice which is a boy still in junior high school.

I asked after his boss and he told me his boss is at home doing something important but he will be back soon and I had to wait patiently for him because he has been my favourite barber for 10 months now, though I have only barbed my hair 4 times in this 10 months.

Two small boys came to barb their hair and the young apprentice attended to one of them immediately, I was surprised to see that the young boy has already started barbing people's hair, though I think is only small children he barb's for now. He has alot of courage based on what I observed. Am a professional barber and I kept on watching the boys moves, making sure he doesn't make mistake in his boss absence but the boy doesn't know am a barber too, though I later gave him little tips.

I decided to take some pictures when I saw that the boy was doing well and doesn't really need my supervision but my eyes were still on the little boy's hair he was barbing incase mistakes comes in. My hair doesn't really look high or look like a three months hair, I always comb it every morning before leaving the house so that I won't look like a mad man.

The barber finally came and we greeted each other then he continued from where his apprentice stopped, the apprentice wasn't really fast and I was like that when I was an apprentice two years ago, I wasn't barbing fast and my boss was always advising me to barb fast because it helps alot. The barber finished barbing the two boys then I kept my phone in my pocket and sat down for him to barb me a very nice low cut.
