To control anxiety and stress, first of all it is important to balance your routine. Make a good schedule daily which has time for both work and relaxation. So that you can have time for both other activities as well as your own work. It is very important to take out some time every day for yourself , do self care or watch a movie ,do what ever you think is good for you. Whether it is cooking, Netflix ,chilling or taking long walks at night with a hot cup of chocolate.

Physical activity ,exercise, yoga ,walking is also a great way to reduce anxiety and stress. Taking a short walk or doing light exercise every day controls the stress hormones of the body and keeps the mood fresh. Yoga and meditation also prove to be very helpful as they promote relaxation and give a positive direction to the mind. Listening to music or spending time in any creative activity like drawing, writing or gardening also helps in removing stress.

Lack of complete sleep can also cause stress and anxiety, therefore it is very important to get a good sleep of 7-8 hours daily. To relax your bedtime routine, reduce the use of mobile and screens and take the help of light music or books. Green tea or herbal drinks also help in reducing stress and soothe the mind. Take care of your food, follow a healthy diet and avoid excessive consumption of caffeine or junk food as it can trigger anxiety.

It is also very important to have good and positive thoughts, getting tensed over every little thing increases stress. Focus your life on gratitude, appreciate small joys and recognize your achievements. If talking to someone makes your heart feel lighter then share your issues with your close friends or family, as emotional support can reduce anxiety to a great extent.
