JAMIK AT-TAQWA MOSQUE PALOH

Steemian friends who are still enthusiastic in carrying out these daily activities, on this occasion I am back again sharing a beautiful place. This place is a Muslim worship center in Paloh Meuria village, Muara Satu, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. The name of this place is Masjid Jamik At-Taqwa.

Masjid Jamik At-Taqwa is one of the beautiful and luxurious mosques in Lhokseumawe and has just finished renovations. Now this mosque is a mosque that characterizes the nuances of the Middle East (similar to mosques in Arabia). This is a mosque that is characterized by Arabic nuances after the Al Munawwarah Blang Pulo mosque which I reviewed a few days ago.

The location of this mosque is very strategic, namely on the edge of the Medan-Banda Aceh road and near the Misbahul Ulum Lhokseumawe pesatren. Let's see more about this mosque:

The gate of Masjid Jamik At-Taqwa Paloh

When we enter the mosque area, the first thing we encounter is a gate of the Jamik At-Taqwa Paloh Mosque which stands majestically and firmly on the edge of the Medan-Banda Aceh road. The gate of this mosque is also given a dome that reflects that this mosque is magnificent and luxurious.

Tampak Masjid Jamik At-Taqwa Paloh dari arah depan

Now when looking at this mosque, our hearts feel like we are in a mosque in the Saudi Arabian region. The characteristics are similar to the minarets of mosques in Arabia. On this high tower at night it will emit colorful lights from the lights inserted in it. In the corners of the mosque there are towering minarets and in the middle there are several green domes.

Ablution and toilet facilities at At-Taqwa Jamik Mosque Paloh

Before entering the mosque, we will certainly find a building in the northeast part of the mosque courtyard. The building is a place of ablution and toilet. In one building, of course, it is divided into two parts, one for men and one for women.

There is one pulpit in the center of the western part of the room of the Jamik At-Taqwa Paloh mosque

This sense of grandeur is fully realized when we enter the mosque. Where in the main room of the mosque there is a pulpit in the center of the western part of the At-Taqwa Paloh Jamik Mosque room. Perhaps every mosque has a pulpit, but what distinguishes it is in terms of the size of the pulpit, the materials used and the motif.

Calligraphy of Allah Muhammad is also found on the west wall (inside the room). This calligraphy is designed with very beautiful colors and in accordance with the motif of this mosque.

We can see that the mosque is very outdoorsy. Because of its size, this mosque also has a second floor that will certainly contain many worshipers who can worship there.

The ceiling of the At-Taqwa Jamik Mosque Paloh

Now when we look at the ceiling of the At-Taqwa Paloh Mosque, we will see that there are decorative lights that are very luxurious and colored in gold. In addition, there is a motif painting at the bottom of the main dome of the mosque.

Fans and Quran racks at the At-Taqwa Jamik Mosque in Paloh

Although it is cool inside the mosque, many fans are also installed on the poles of the mosque and fans stand in front. In addition, several shelves are also provided to store the Qur'an and Islamic textbooks.

Male and female congregation divider

It is certain that in every mosque there is a divider for male and female worshipers, as well as this mosque. The barrier is made in a movable way and can be adjusted according to needs.

Digital clock and text runing

On the side of the pulpit both left and right there is a clock and digital running text. this running text serves to provide information to the congregation and display the time.

Batik motifs on some of the center pillars of the mosque

Luxury is also felt when we see batik motifs on several pillars in the center of the mosque. Indeed, not all poles exist, but the motif is given to the large pole in the center of the mosque. The motif is made of metal.

The old minaret of this mosque

Not forgetting the old buildings, this mosque also enshrines an old minaret as well. This tower still stands firmly in the northeast corner of the mosque. This tower may have its own history and as a form of appreciation to the person who wafaq the material first.
