My favourite fruit of the week is SOUR ORANGE

vitamins are essential to keep our body healthy. The best natural way to get vitamins and minerals is to take fruits. Taking fruits after meals is a very good health habit. It not only provides vitamins, but also helps in digestion. It is best if you can choose fruits that are free from toxic chemicals.
MY FAVOURITE FRUIT THIS WEEK WAS THE SOUR ORANGE

The sour orange tree grows to a height of about 10 meters. The sour orange fruit is green in color and turn yellow-orange when ripe. The rind of the fruit is rough and exudes a citrus aroma. The juice is extremely bitter and sour in taste. The juice is light yellow in color. The stem is sharp with thorns. The flowers are white in color and fragrant. The fruit consists of 10-12 fleshy seeds inside. There are white seeds in the middle.
This plant is found in almost every part of Sri Lanka. The botanical name of this plant is Citrus aurantium. It belongs to the Rutaceae family. The English names are sour orange, bitter orange, sevilla orange. Every part of this plant is used as a medicine. In Ayurvedic medicine, sour orange juice is used for making kalka, grinding guli and many other medicines.
I brought oranges from the garden so it didn't cost me anything. Although many people ignore such fruit today, their nutritional value is high. Since pesticides are not used on fruits grown in gardens, they are very beneficial for health. We should also take that into account when choosing fruits.

Even though sour oranges are sold for around 50-60 Sri Lankan rupees in sri lanka, I am happy that I have been able to them without spending any miso far.

- Folic acid
- Thiamine

Contains many other nutrients.

It is widely used in Ayurveda.
It is rich in vitamin C and helps in curing skin diseases.
Inhaling the smoke from the peel of the bitter orange fruit relieves headaches caused by migraines.
👍 Bitter orange juice contains antioxidant properties that help reduce aging and wrinkles.
The calcium in these strengthens teeth and bones.
Magnesium and Thiamine control high blood pressure.
vitamin E contributes to blood circulation.
very good for controlling diabetes and kidney disease.
works against cancer.
Good for oil control and skin.
various uses for weight loss.
Makes digestion easier.
sour oranges are good for cough.
very good for the heart.
Also used for colds.
Good for worm infection.
Makes you hungry.
Good for oral diseases.
