How are you all doing? I am pretty sure that my fellow colleagues will be quite fine and happy in life. I am also fit , Alhamdulillah. I am here because dear lady @mesola held a contest. I am thankful to her for this contest. Steemians , I am here to share my cooking skills. I cooked a delicious Round gourd with lentils. In my area it is known as Ghia kaddu. It is most common dish. It is the most favorite dish of Our Holy Prophet (PBUH). I like to eat this dish. I often made it at home. Let's come to know the recipe of round gourd with lentils.
The Ingredients I used for this recipe.

1 | Lentils | Half kg |
2 | Round Gourd | One kg |
3 | Onions 🧅 | Four Medium Size |
4 | Garlic 🧄 | Five to Six Slices |
5 | Tomatoes 🍅 | Two Medium Size |
6 | Green Chillies | Ten to Twelve Slices |
7 | Red Chilli flakes | One Tablespoon |
8 | Red Chilli Powder | One Tablespoon |
9 | Salt | One Tablespoon |
10 | Turmeric Powder | One Teaspoon |

- In the beginning, I peel the vegetables like onions, round gourd , garlic and tomatoes. Then I washed the onions and round gourd. Then I chopped the onions and garlic. Then after that I cut the round gourd in little triangle shape. Then I chopped the tomatoes and Green chillies. After doing that , I washed the lentils about five to six times. Then I soaked it.

- I put the pan on fire then I add Shan ghee in it. I add six to seven spoons in it. I heated it and then I add chopped onions and garlic in it. Then I mix it.
- Then I fried it. I fried it almost five minutes on medium flame. Its color becomes light brown. Then I add the chopped tomatoes and onions in it. I mixed it and cooked it.
- Then when it is cooked I add the spices in it. I cooked a spicy round gourd that's why I add more red chilli flakes in it. Then after adding the spices I add little water in the spices. Then I mixed it and cooked it. I cooked the spices with water until it becomes a paste. After few minutes, it becomes a beautiful alluring paste.
- Then when it becomes a paste I add the round gourd in it. I mixed it and fry it for five minutes on medium flame. Then When the round gourd fried it gives a beautiful and fascinating color.
- After That I add the soaked lentils in it. Then I add water. I almost add three to five glass in it. Then covered it with lid and left it for cook on low flame.
- Then after fifteen to twenty minutes the dish is cooked and ready to eat. I enjoyed it with white rice 🍚. The white rice with round gourd is a perfect combination. It is yummy and delicious dish.
