The Diary Game: Culinary School And Resolved Issues(19-05-2025)

Holla, holla!! How are you all doing? I've missed you guys a whole lot and it feels surreal to be back here today to gist y'all about yesterday's diary. I won't be wasting much of your time today so please let's do this together as always. Yesterday was actually rough a bit but ended up in a very good way. I woke up with a heavy heart, I wasn't happy with how my friend had reacted towards something I told him the previous night and that gave me sleepless night.

I got out of bed and did my morning chores, while checking my phone charging plug whether they had opened but unfortunately they didn't so I had to keep checking on them till they finally opened by 10am and I plugged my phone and went back to the house. I tried forcing myself to sleep but it didn't work so I just laid and rolled on my bed, soon my neighbor brought her baby to me to help her babysit while she rush to the farm and I told her, I had an appointment by 1pm and needs to be out by then so she make herself available by then and she agreed. I took the baby in and played with her, she became hungry at some point and I fed her and after eating, she went to bed and slept till her mom was back.

Thought of having breakfast didn't cross my mind and I wasn't hungry either, I joined my baby in sleeping and her mom came calling and I woke up. Checked my time and it was few minutes past noon and I had my bath and got prepared to step out, I first unplugged my phone from where I charged it and boarded a mini bus to my destination. I got to the cake studio where I'd be having my training and they were not trainees there so I joined them and waited for others to arrive. The fixed time for our meeting was 2pm and I arrived there few minutes before the time but because of late comers, they meeting started by past 3pm and ended around past 4pm, it was an hour meeting.

While at the meeting, my friend dropped lots of messages for me but I refused to reply with thoughts of visiting him after the meeting to know how he's doing since he said he wasn't feeling fine. I was actually praying for the meeting to come to an end soon but was actively involved in it because this meeting marked the beginning of something beautiful in my life. I've always desired to enrol in a culinary school but didn't have the finances and the opportunity came knocking with a full scholarship, who am I not to grab it with open arms? We had an open discussion about how the training should be done, so many things were discussed and we were divided into batches and the first batch where I belonged was to begin the next day and lastly, we had picture session after the meeting and that brought it to an end.

Y'all will have to manage the above picture cos my girls were focused on iphone and didn't want to be snapped with an Android but since I needed it for something important I still had to take it without their consent. I got into the mini bus and headed to his place right after the meeting, when I alighted from the bus, I met my friend heading to the field to watch football match and when he saw me, he returned back home with me. We got to his place and had some moments of silence but I decided to break the silence and ask what was going on but my guy refused to answer but rather asked that I go pour water on my body and eat before we could talk about anything and that's exactly what I did because I was hungry.

We finally got to talk and certain issues were addressed, we both apologized to each other and resolved our issue. I was so tired after the long talk but managed to write my diary game before going to bed. That's how my day was yesterday, how was yours?
