Hello, my lovely steemkids and parents. It's wonderful to be with all of you today. I hope you're having a great day, mine is going well. I'm excited to share with you that I'm participating in the food challenge contest organized by our community, @steemkids. I'm grateful for this opportunity.

Let's get started, Please join me as I take you through the step-by-step preparation process. To begin, here are the ingredients I used to make this delicious egg soup:

Ingredients

  • Egg

  • Okro

  • Onion

  • Ozuza leaf

  • Cow skin (kpomo)

  • Pepper

  • Red oil

  • Maggi

  • Crayfish

With all the necessary ingredients at hand, including the additional items I already had at home, I began preparing each component and setting them aside, ready to commence the cooking process.

Cooking process

Next, I placed the empty pot over medium heat and added a small amount of red oil. I let the oil heat up for about 60 seconds, until it was hot and shimmering. Then, I carefully added the sliced onions to the pot.

As the onions started to fried and turn golden brown, I poured in the whisked eggs. I let them cook for a brief moment, until the edges began to set, then used a cooking spoon to gently scramble and fold them over, breaking them up into fluffy curds.

Next, I added the remaining seasonings to the pot, including Maggi, salt, pepper, and crayfish. I also added a small amount of water to the pot and brought the mixture to a boil. Then, I reduced the heat to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Finally, I added the sliced okra to the pot, completing the dish.

After adding the okra, I stirred the mixture thoroughly to combine. Then, I covered the pot and let it steam for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the okra to cook. Finally, I added the sliced ozuza leaves and simmered the mixture for an additional 2 minutes, completing the dish.

With the cooking time complete, I turned off the heat and removed the pot from the cooker. My delicious egg soup was now ready to be served, hot and steaming, filled with flavorful goodness.

After savoring the delicious meal to my heart's content, I unwound with a refreshing shower to wash away the day's fatigue. Feeling rejuvenated, I then settled in for a well-deserved rest, calling it a day.
