My Entry for the [Blind Audition Stage] in VOS

It may be hard to believe, but for me, singing is not just about melody and rhythm—it's about a lot of unspoken, stored feelings that come from the heart. I think we all have things that don't come out in our mouths, but come out in song. The song I chose for this competition "Pora Kajoger Tota Amar Ae Mantaake Pude Pude Korecho Chai, is one of my favorite songs sung by Asif Akbar. It is great to be able to sing this song in your own way. It seems that the pain and hidden feelings of Asif Bhai's song can be felt in every line, every raga.

Why did I join this competition, and what's your view about it?

I actually participated in this competition for a very simple reason—because I love singing. When I get such an opportunity, I never want to leave. I learned a lot of new things while singing this song. I not only memorized the lyrics of the song, but I also tried to remember it so that the emotion reaches everyone properly. I want someone to be touched even a little by listening to my song, this is my greatest achievement.

My experience is that when covering a song, it is not enough to just keep the melody right, you have to embrace the feeling of the song. While singing the song 'Pora Kagoger Mat', many things inside me came out. I believe that by doing this, I have improved at least a little
