One picture, a thousand stories-Wk11

It feels good to participate yet again in this week's "One picture, a thousand stories" by @fortwis09. Suddenly I just realized that with contests like this I could trap stories behind some of my wonderful captures.
So here is a picture I so much cherish, wait a minute, I hope you're not getting tired of seeing my face week in, week out. Maybe it's just an act I've fallen in love with recently but enjoy it while it lasts, the normal me is shy behind and in front of the camera, let alone showing y'all the outcome of each shot I took in spite of my shyness....
Anyways I know someone right now is like but he doesn't seem to look shy in this picture of his more so he is even smiling with all his cheeks and teeth wide open...lols. well I wouldn't have appeared otherwise and the reason is not far fetched. These people you see with me in this picture are those I call my family members.
These are some unique set of individuals I met while living my life the best way I can a few years back and we bonded so easily because we share common values. We are so into ourselves that we are not ashamed to call ourselves one big family. We are actually more than what you see in this picture but for some reason the others were not captured in this shot because they were not within reach on this fateful day.
Yea! So what actually led to this picture? ....eeeerm can I quickly travel back in time in a second just to bring you the full gist? I hope you won't get mad at me if I spend eternity trying to bring you the gist you long for...lols. I was only kidding.
Well you can see us all happy and lively in the picture, this picture was taken in the early hour of the day after an evangelical outing in the environment where we were that day. We actually went out very early after an awesome time of fellowship the previous night to share the good news about our Lord Jesus Christ. I guess you don't know this part about me, now you know. Smiles.
I maximize every given opportunity I have to share this gospel with everyone around me especially to those who care to listen. It's something I can't be silent about and you see those folks I have with me in this picture, we share the same passion and burden...to reach out to as many with this gospel of Christ.
On this special day, after our successful outing to preach the gospel, we took out time to sing, rejoice and have fun even with our rough looking faces, that was obviously tortured by the early morning cold breeze... You can see us wrapped up like the Eskimos. We just derive joy in this activity both in and out of season and we are not ashamed of this gospel we preach.
Today, some of the folks in this picture are now far away in a distant land, both outside and within the country and of course I miss them...so much and that's because I cherish every moment we spent together while we were all together. Pictures like these are tokens of consolation to me...knowing that we cannot all be physically together forever.
This made me subscribe to that common saying in this part of the world that says "20 friends cannot be together for 20 years". I love them all and my heart blesses them wherever they are.
Let me draw the curtain here and just before I drop my pen, I will like to invite @josepha @imadear @zory23 to this contest. I hope they find it interesting
