One Picture, A Thousand Stories - Wk4
Good day steemians!
Birthday is so special for us Filipinos, eventhough theres no food on the table. But if you got to celebrate it with your friends and you will receive a surprise from them is superb.
A good friend of mine celebrated her 42nd birthday. The birthday girl who is one of my closest friend here in school was once a steemian. On the picture, its me, the birthday girl Abi554 and Fabio2644 who was once a steemian also.
On the picture above, we prayed for the food and for the birthday girl. Mam Abi was so sick lately, she had an insomnia for almost a month or more. He really wanted to sleep but cant. So, before we prayed for the food, we offer first a prayer for her health that in Jesus Name she will be healed and can do her routine.
Everytime we were in need we always pray, because we believe that God is a great healer. Sometimes He just gave us something so we will remember Him. We should not rely on our own strength, we should always talk to Him like a friend.
I do believe that in this platform, we had different religion and we believe to someone different from the other. But the bottom line is that we learn how to ask His guidance. We should value the essence of prayer and what it can do to our daily decisions.
If we are sad and got lots of burden we will pray, if we are happy we should also pray and be grateful to who we praise. We should learn how to give back the glory and honor.
From this day onwards, I believe that God will heal those who were hurt and had lots of trials. I believe that He will give us a great reason to live and face every trials.
