in Steem Kids & Parents22 hours ago (edited)
Hello Everyone !

This is my first time ever writing a post about my experience with the Steem Memory Game, but not the first time I played it. Actually, I have been playing this game since it was launched. I used to enjoy it quietly just for fun, but this is the first time I’m participating in the contest by sharing my experience in a post. I feel excited and happy to finally join the community in this way.

When I saw this game for the first time, it brought back beautiful memories from my childhood. I used to have an old tablet where I played a similar memory card game. That game had images of flowers and butterflies, and I enjoyed it so much. 🌸🦋 It made me smile again when I found this game on Steemit it felt like a modern version of that childhood joy.

🧠 How I Played the Game – My Memory Tricks.

This week’s theme was Food, and I really liked flipping the cards and seeing tasty food items like:

🍔 Burgers,🍟 Fries,🍩 Donuts, 🍕 Pizza ,🥣 Spoons, plates, and many more.

At first, I thought my memory was not strong enough 😅 but I still gave it a try. I used my own little memory techniques to remember the images:

When I saw a spoon, I told myself, “Spoon means food is coming!”

If I saw a burger, I tried to remember whether it was a big or a small patty and I called them “single burger” or “double burger” in my mind.

When there was an image of burger and fries, I just remembered it as a “combo”.

I even created short words and clues in my head. Like if I saw a plate and then a broast, I’d say “plate near broast” or something funny that helped me keep it in mind. 😄

It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed flipping each card, trying to match it, and slowly improving with each game.

📊 My Game Scores – I Played Many Times

Since I enjoyed the game so much, I played it multiple times to get better and better. Here are some of my scores:

Final Score: 1451

Final Score: 1468

Final Score: 1493

⭐ Best Score: 1536

Even if I didn’t get the highest score, I’m proud that I tried hard and improved each time. That’s what matters.

💖 Why I Loved This Game

This game is not only fun, it’s also a great brain exercise. It helps train our memory, and at the same time, it’s light-hearted and relaxing. I really enjoyed seeing the colorful food images and using my memory to match them.

This is the kind of activity that makes Steemit more engaging and meaningful. Now that I’ve finally started sharing my experience, I feel more connected to the community. I will try to participate every week from now on I don’t want to miss any more contests.

It’s a great way to spend some creative time play the game, write your post, and enjoy the process.

Today I’m excited to share something very close to my heart my homemade Chicken Macaroni recipe.

I’ve always loved cooking, especially when it’s done with simple things we already have at home. You don’t always need expensive ingredients to make something tasty. Sometimes, all you need is a little hunger… and a lot of heart.

🌧️ A Memory Behind the Meal

I remember the day I made this. I wasn’t feeling okay emotionally. I was just… tired. I was sitting quietly, a little upset, and I felt like I needed something warm and comforting something to cheer me up.

There wasn’t much in the kitchen, but I saw a packet of macaroni and some chicken in the fridge. So I went in and started cooking and that’s how this simple, flavorful Chicken Macaroni came to life. It’s not just food to me, it was healing that day.

🍲 Ingredients I Used

These were all basic things available at home no fancy shopping needed:

1 medium onion (finely chopped)

1 tbsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste (homemade)

1 cup macaroni

A handful of small boneless chicken pieces

3 tomatoes (blended to make puree)

A few ketchup sachets (whatever I had at home)

1000054257.jpg1000054260.jpg
1000054272.jpg1000054275.jpg

Salt, black pepper, red chili flakes – all to taste

Green chilies (optional, if you like heat)

1 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp red chili sauce

Cooking oil

🍳 How I Made It – Step by Step, with Love

• Boiling the Macaroni
I boiled 2 cups of water with a pinch of salt and a few drops of oil. Then I added 1 cup of macaroni and let it cook until it was almost done — soft, but not too soft. I drained the water and set it aside.

1000054278.jpg1000054281.jpg

• Starting the Masala
In a pan, I added oil and fried the chopped onions until they turned golden. Then came the ginger-garlic-green chili paste I cooked it on low flame so the raw smell would fade and the flavor would come out.

1000054284.jpg1000054287.jpg

• Adding Chicken
I tossed in the boneless chicken pieces and cooked them slowly until they turned light golden. They were small, so they cooked quickly and stayed juicy.

1000054263.jpg1000054290.jpg

• Time for Flavors
Now for the fun part spices. I added red chili flakes, black pepper, vinegar, chili sauce, and those little ketchup sachets we all have lying around. Then I poured in the blended tomato paste and let the sauce simmer on low flame until it thickened and became rich in taste.

1000054266.jpg1000054293.jpg

• Mixing it All Together
I added the boiled macaroni into the spicy sauce and mixed everything gently. I let it simmer for a few more minutes so all the flavors could come together.

• Serving It Hot
I served it fresh and hot one plate for me, one for my little sister. And honestly, it was so delicious. The spice, the tanginess, the softness of the pasta everything was just perfect.

ALL IMAGES ARE TAKEN BY ME.

That's it from today’s blog. I hope you liked it. With best wishes. Now I would like to invite:
@neelofer, @norat, and @mesola to participate in this amazing contest.

Bendiciones
