Extropia And Jamie Visit ‘Hello Kitty’ Land

in Steem Gaming3 years ago

Recently, Jamie and I visited a sim in Second Life that had been turned into a theme park based on a character called ‘Hello Kitty’. I don’t know much about the actual character, but my Jamie told me that this cartoonish cat is to Japanese girls what Barbie is to us westerners.

Anyway, Hello Kitty Land was a very bright and cheerful sim. Everywhere you looked there were balloons and coloured palms, and of course the iconic kitty herself. Where to go? It was time to check a handy map..

Various paths took you to different areas of the park. We did not have time to see everything. The first place Jamie and I headed for was a water park. We had lots of fun riding the water slides. There were also some jet skis, but while Jamie figured out how to race around on hers, I could not even sit on mine!

After the water park we headed over to the fun fair. I had spotted the Ferris wheel on first arriving, and was looking forward to riding it. Unfortunately, it was only a static model. However, after a bit more exploring the two of us found a balloon ride that took us flying over the sim. Jamie said that was her favourite part of the experiences Hello Kitty land had to offer.

There was more to see, but we ran out of time. I would like to go back, because this was a very pretty sim and whoever built it packed it with fun things to do. As ever, getting to share this experience with my dear Jamie made it all even better!
