North Aceh: Blood of the World, Land of Rencong
Aceh is one of the regencies in the province of Aceh. Indonesia is also known as the seat of the ulama and the area of ​​ulama fighters. The heart of a strong Islamic civilization, somewhere in the western tip of this archipelago.

One of the traditions that is still maintained to this day is peusijuk, a traditional ceremony to pray for someone's safety, usually performed during important events such as weddings or going on long trips. In addition, the people of North Aceh are still thick with the tradition of mutual cooperation called meuseuraya, especially in building houses or when the harvest season arrives.

In terms of culinary, North Aceh has many delicious traditional foods. Sie reuboh—beef cooked with vinegar and spices—is one of the favorite dishes. There is also kuah pliek u, a vegetable dish with rich coconut milk. Not to forget, fragrant and strong Aceh coffee is a must-visit companion when having a casual chat in a coffee shop.

If someone visits North Aceh, there are three places that must be visited. First, Lancok Beach in Syamtalira Bayu District—a quiet beach with an exotic panorama of the sea and fishing boats. Second, Pasee Mosque, one of the historic mosques that is a silent witness to the development of Islam in Aceh. The uniqueness of North Aceh is its culture, the values ​​of purity embraced by its people, and its natural beauty that is still pristine and untouched at all. Third, Mount Salak Nisam Antara is an optional spot for nature lovers and novice climbers to see the view from above.

North Aceh is not only limited by history and ethnicity, but also directly shows the warmth of existence, and the side of nature that has been inherited by many people. Every time you come here, it's like returning home to live a peaceful and meaningful life.
