Contest: 1 Picture 1 Story Week #81

Last two days the whole world is holding the breathing and was waiting for the announcement from America about the Trump’s tariffs. For last couple of months Trump already had threatened to increase taxes for goods from Canada, Mexico and China. These three countries were to receive the highest percent. It was in the past put on and then off but this time he promised to show the taxes for all countries who sell any goods in US.
Also, if you follow the politic you might notice that many countries started to promote the products produced in their own country and boycott the products made in US, especially in Canada, maybe also because Trump wanted to make Canada 51st State of US and that is despite of nation wanting to be independent.
So, yesterday we were also following the news and that speech of Trump, he prepared a long list with precents, that were seems to be randomly put into the table. Who knows what and how he made it and what guided him.
As European, we also followed the announcement from EU leaders and that they prepared their plan what to do and how to react.
If I would be a person with business in US, I probably would leave the US, because it is only beginning and who knows what will be the next step of Trump. Also, we see that DOGE department is interfering everywhere and also supported in all its action by Trump. I would be not a fan to living and have a fright that something might happen in near future.
We will see what the future will bring.
