One Picture And One Story Week #86
In the weeks following Eid, the atmosphere of friendship is still warm in the air. Usually, after Eid, people start to return to their routines, but there are certain moments that still feel special. Of the many moments, one of them was when I was able to sit again with the people who gave me inspiration and enthusiasm in the world of writing and sharing stories of encouragement and motivation, namely on the Steemit platform.
That day, I had the opportunity to gather with two senior people as well as my teachers in my Steemit journey, namely Mr. @heriadi and Mr. @muzack1. In addition, our younger brother @waliyul also participated in this small meeting. We chose one of the simple coffee shops in the Krueng Geukueh area at Kebun Jeruk coffee shop. It's a cozy stall that is visited by many locals, but like most coffee shops in Aceh, it holds many stories in every cup of coffee and every stool that its customers casually walk by.
I haven't met Mr. @heriadi in person for quite some time. Each other's busy schedules and distance sometimes make meetings like this rare. So when the opportunity came, I knew that this would not just be coffee, it would be a space to exchange ideas, share encouragement, and revive the connections that were once tightly woven at the beginning of my journey on Steemit.
We sat at one table, cups of hot coffee served on the table. Each of us ordered coffee according to our taste. The aroma of Acehnese coffee is my favorite choice. But, as always, when gathered with wise seniors, the conversation quickly turned from mere pleasantries to meaningful discussions.
We talked a lot about the development of the Steemit world, especially about the Steem-Atlas theme that has been lively lately. The presence of steem-atas is a forum for Indonesian users to support each other and review the places they visit. Mr. @muzack1 shared some important input on how challenges in the community can be turned into opportunities to grow on this steemit, especially as the manager of the Steem Of Animals community. While Mr. @heriadi, with his calm but firm style, shared his experience in building a strong community network, as well as the importance of maintaining consistency in work.
We also discussed some of the latest challenges currently running on Steemit, including writing contests and other community activities. The chat made me re-motivated to be more active in writing and participating in various activities. I realized that the world of Steemit is not just about rewards, but also about the process of learning, supporting each other, and growing together.
One thing I am most grateful for from this moment is the realization that learning can come from anywhere, including from casual conversations in this coffee shop. From here I learned a lot about hard work, simplicity, and consistency to keep growing.
The photo I shared is just one image, but the story behind it is multi-layered. Not just about who is in it, but also about the value of togetherness, the importance of maintaining good relationships, and how small moments can have a big impact on our journey.
This post is hosted by mom @suboohi with the contest theme โ1 Picture 1 Story Week #86โ.
I hope the simple story I shared this time can be a reminder that every encounter has meaning, and every story has the power to inspire.
I invite @cymolan, Mr. @candra8692 and @ulfaturulrahmah to join this contest. |
