Tomb & Graveyard Chishti Qutab Deen

Hello everyone!

Today I am here to share a graveyard and a tomb with you. This is the oldest tomb and graveyard in the area. There is an old saint who is hurried inside the tomb and whose name is Chishti Qutab Deen. The graveyard and tomb is famous by his name. The village and place is also associated with his name.

Tomb

This is the tomb. At first it was small and very old tomb. Recently they have broken it down to rebuild the tomb with more height and new structure with great architecture.

Interior of Tomb

This is the interior of tomb. You can see the tomb building is in the brown structure because of the continuous construction. You can see the complex architecture of the interior. At the top there is a dome. Due to ongoing construction it is not decorated yet.

Grave of Hazrat Baba Chishti Qutab Deen

This is the grave of the famous and pious saint Hazrat Baba Chishti Qutab Deen. This is the person with whom the graveyard and the village is associated. The management has placed a heavy green clothe on the grave.

Interior Windows

The tomb has two doors to enter. One door remains always open but the other is opened when necessary. Furthermore on all other sides there are big glass windows. The glass of the windows is of light green colour and easy to move to open and close the window.

Interior Fan and Embrasures

The management has installed the fans on the walls. There are currently two rotational fans inside the tomb. Above the windows there are big embrasures. They allow crossing of the light and air inside the tomb.

Backyard of the Tomb

This is the backyard of the tomb. In the backyard there are the graves of the people who belonged to the race of Hazrat Baba Chishti Qutab Deen. These are the special graves because of their belonging to the saint.

Graveyard 🪦

This is the vast graveyard associated with the tomb. On all sides of the tomb there is the graveyard area which have a number of graves. There is no any fees to burry anyone in the graveyard. People are free to make graves as per their desired such as clay graves and concrete graves.

Water Taps - Ablution area

There is a dedicated ablution area. There are a number of water taps connected with the water tank in the open area as this is situated in the ghetto area. It is used for taking ablution and to get water for any other purpose like to spread on the graves or surroundings.

Washrooms

These are the washrooms. There are 4 washrooms. These are also free to use.

Water Cooler

There is a water cooler in the graveyard. This is an electric water cooler but I checked it was not working at the moment. It needs to be fixed.
