One Picture And One Story Week #91
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
I have a moment associated with this picture that I would like to share with you all. Today is a day of celebration in the Muslim world, known as the day of Eid al-Adha. On this day of Eid, the instruction given unanimously from Allah is the principle. We celebrate the day of Eid al-Adha by following that principle.
On this festival day, Allah has made it obligatory for those who are capable, since the day it was made obligatory for our beloved Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Allah had commanded Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his son Ismail (peace be upon him).
Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) sacrificed his own son as commanded by Allah. However, due to Allah's immense grace, instead of his son, he sent a ram from the heavens. It is through that ram that the practice of sacrifice began, and from that day, Allah has made it obligatory for affluent individuals to offer this sacrificial animal.
Among the Muslims on Earth, those who are capable are obligated to offer sacrifice, and there is a specific threshold for this. This threshold is that one must possess at least seven and a half voris of gold or fifty-two tollas of silver. Alternatively, one must have a sum of money equivalent to this amount if they have possessions beyond their needs; those possessions are what will be considered as their capability for this amount.
This day comes once a year, and it is on the 10th of the month of Zul-Hijjah. I was going to celebrate that day today and I have sacrificed about seven animals with this knife by my own hand. Among them, six are cows for the sacrifice, and one is a goat. This sacrifice, this offering, is most important to Allah, and this meat of our animals is not more important. I pray that Allah accepts all of our sacrifices.
I will invite my dear friends to participate in the competition. They are. @wilmer1988 @chant @muzack1
